Legendary Pals have always been one of the ultimate goals in Palworld, and that hasn’t changed even with the game’s 1.0 release. Needless to say, they are among the strongest companions you can add to your team.

So obviously, you want to get your hands on them – ALL of them if possible. Well, you’re in luck!

In this guide, we’re going to show you how to get all legendary Pals in the game and where exactly you can find them. Let’s get started.

How and Where to Get the Legendary Pals in Palworld 1.0

There are a total of 6 legendary Pals you can find in the Palpagos Islands. But before you even start the hunt, you have to keep in mind that every Legendary encounter is designed for the late game.

While you can technically attempt one earlier with some clever tactics, it would be significantly harder.

Ideally, you should be close to the level cap (the level cap has been increased to 85 btw). You should also bring Legendary Spheres, powerful weapons, strong armor, and a team of Pals that can counter the weakness of the specific legendary you’re hunting.

Another thing worth noting is that since 1.0, the locations of some legendary Pals have changed.

Once you’ve met the prerequisites, it’s time to start hunting. Here’s how you can capture each of them:

Jetragon

Jetragon Palworld

First, we have Jetragon, which is a Legendary Celestial Dragon that can be used as a flying mount. It’s one of the most sought-after legendary Pals in the game due to its amazing mobility.

That said, you can find Jetragon in the northwestern part of Sunreach, also known as the Sky Island. To get there, you need to defeat Bjorn and Bastigor in Feybreak Tower.

After defeating the boss, you can then use the altar that appears on the southwestern side of the tower. This will then take you to Sunreach. It’s worth noting that the area is filled with floating islands scattered all throughout.

Hence, I highly recommend taking a flying mount with you for easier navigation.

Jetragon Location Palworld

Now, to capture Jetragon, you want to bring Ice Pals as they deal increased damage against Jetragon, who happens to be a pure Dragon type. Frostallion (another Legendary pal) is the best one for this, but if you don’t have one yet, there are some solid alternatives.

Some examples include Foxcicle and Reindrix. You can also use Ragnahawk as it can inflict burn that can whittle down Jetragon’s massive health pool.

Capturing Jetragon Palworld

That said, Jetragon’s capture rate is absurdly low due to it being a Legendary pal. So don’t be surprised if capturing it will take a long while.

Frostallion

Frostallion Palworld

Next, we have Frostallion, a Legendary Steed of Ice which essentially looks like Pegasus with its white fur and wings.

Fortunately, you can find Frostallion in the same old spot where it’s always been prior to the 1.0 release. Specifically, you can find Frostallion west of the Astral Mountains as shown in the image below.

Frostallion Location Palworld

Since Frostallion is an Ice-type Pal, the best way to take it down is by bringing Fire-type Pals with you. Some good examples include Jormuntide Ignis, Blazamut, and Wixen.

Also consider bringing Pals like Rooby and Kelpsea Ignis as support Pals to make the encounter a lot easier.

Paladius

Paladius Palworld

Paladius, the Holy Knight of Legend, is a Neutral-type Pal which has the appearance of a centaur-like creature clad in light blue armor while wielding a shield and a lance.

Just like Frostallion, Paladius’s location remains unchanged for the most part. You can still find it in its previous location which is north of the Dessicated Desert.

Paladius Location Palworld

Perhaps the only thing that’s changed is that it now has its own boss arena unlike before.

That said, I highly recommend you bring Dark-type Pals with you when attempting to capture Paladius. Some notable examples for this would be Frostallion Noct and Shadowbeak. Though technically, any Pal with good stats can take it on.

Necromus

Necromus Palworld

If you think capturing Paladius is an easy task, you’re in for a big surprise. After all, it shares its arena with another Legendary pal, which is none other than Necromus.

Necromus, the Dark Knight of Legend, is essentially the Dark-type version of Paladius. However, instead of a shield and a lance, it wields a lance in each of its hands instead.

What makes the encounter harder than the others is that you’re basically fighting two legendary Pals at the same time.

Personally, the best Pal to bring to this fight is none other than Jetragon. After all, you get access to its Aerial Missiles ability that allows you to bombard the arena with a barrage of missiles from a safe distance.

Necromus and Paladius Encounter Palworld

That said, you can actually make the fight a lot easier by taking them on one by one.

In case you don’t know yet, Paladius will go to sleep at night. This gives you an opportunity to face Necromus all by itself. This makes the fight easier as you’ll be able to solo Necromus.

Afterward, you can simply initiate the fight with Paladius once you’ve taken down Necromus.

Neptilius

Neptilius Palworld

Neptilius, the Legend of the Great Seas, is a Water-type Pal which you can use as a mount to travel quickly across bodies of water.

You can find it in the same spot which is the Isle of the Glacial Core, a small isle located just west of the Deep Sand Dunes.

Neptilius Location Palworld

Since Neptilius is a Water-type creature, you can bring Electric-type Pals with you to make the encounter easier.

The best overall counter for it would be Orserk, thanks to its massive lightning damage. You can also consider Asherine and Helzephyr Lux as solid alternatives.

Frostallion Noct

Frostallion Noct Palworld

Last but not least is Frostallion Noct, which is essentially the Dark-type version of Frostallion. However, it’s far from being just another version, as this Pal is actually a cross between Frostallion and Helzephyr.

To get one, you can breed a Frostallion with a Helzephyr, collect the resulting Huge Dark Egg, and wait for the Frostallion Noct to appear.

That said, you can also find it in its new location which is on one of the Wildlife Sanctuaries. Specifically, its location is the one on the northeastern corner of the map across the Deep Sand Dunes.

Frostallion Noct Location Palworld

To beat it, you’ll need to bring Dragon-type Pals with you. Once again, Jetragon is no doubt the best Pal for this, but you can also bring Chillet and Relaxaurus.

Final Thoughts

As you can see, some of the legendary Pals have had their locations changed with the release of Palworld 1.0. So if you’re planning to get one of them, you might be surprised to learn that some of them are no longer in their previous locations.

Happy hunting!
