Blue Prince – Safe Code Solution in Study

Blue Prince is a blend of both the roguelike and puzzle game genres, and while it does have a bit of randomization, the challenges in the game do not really change much and the solutions can be memorized. In this guide, we will very quickly show you how to open the safe in the study room, which have hints all around the place itself.

Safe Code Solution in Study

In the study, you will find a safe with seemingly no other obvious hints in the room. Knowing that the solution could be a date, you might be looking high and low for something that indicates any type of day and year.

However, the solution is a lot simpler than you might expect. In this room, you will find a chessboard on the table. It has a lone piece on it, and upon closer inspection, you will find that it is on the D8 spot. This is the only hint you will need.

D8 could be interpreted in many ways, but in this case, the only ones that makes sense would be that it is either “Date” or “December 8”. With that in mind, the code should have the numbers 12 (December) and 08 (the day).

Now that you have all of the info you will ever need, the only possible combinations would either be 0812 or 1208. To open this safe, you will need to use the code 0812.

Once you have used the correct code, which again, is 0812, congratulations! You have now opened the safe in the study room, so claim your rewards inside and progress further into the game to find and solve much more complex puzzles.
