How to Reach the Middle in the Cloister
Once you enter the Cloister, you will immediately notice that there is a statue in the middle, among other things that stick out as stuff that you can interact with. However, since you can’t just jump over there, you will have to find a way to open a path into it.
There is at least one clue that you can stumble into that tells you exactly how to get there. Of course, since you are here, you can skip that entirely. All you need to do is walk to the front of the statue, where its scepter is pointed.
In this part of the cloister, click on the two pillars directly in front of the statue. Looking from the inside, the statue is going to be between the pair of pillars, so they are impossible to miss. Upon clicking the base of the two pillars, a segment of the wall blocking your way will sink into the ground.

Once that happens, you are free to enter the middle section of the cloister. Here, there are multiple digging spots that you can check out, which might give you some useful resources or literally nothing.
One last thing to keep in mind is that there is an allowance token behind the statue, which you probably spotted from afar already. Do not forget to pick it up as it is a permanent upgrade that takes no effort at all to get.
