Shadowmanes are chimera-looking creatures that were initially introduced in Genesis: Part 2. They are quite aggressive creatures that will serve players well be it in a PVP or PVE situation. This makes them one of the most sought-after combat tames in the game.

With the release of the Fjordur, Shadowmanes were thankfully added to the map as well. This means that players who don’t even have the Genesis: Part 2 DLC can now get their hands on this powerful tame. If you’re wondering where you can find them in Fjordur, this guide is for you.

Where to Find Shadowmanes in ARK Fjordur

The best spots where you can find Shadowmanes are those areas that have lots of purple wisteria trees. You can find them in the Asgard realm, and to get there, you have to head over to the portal room.

One such area where Shadowmanes spawn is on coordinates 36.4, 52.5. As soon as you arrive in the area, you’ll then be able to spot a handful of Shadowmanes roaming around.

The best part is that this area has a lake inside it. This means that you can catch the fish you need to tame the Shadowmanes. This is basically a prime spot for taming one if you like.
