You’ll need to plan to make the entrance to your Trampler more secure in Sand: Raiders of Sophie if you wish to reduce risks during expeditions.
For the most part, you’ll really be worried about other players attacking you with their own Tramplers. However, there’s always a risk of other players boarding your own Trampler and taking it over! A more secure entrance can at least help reduce the risk of that.
In this quick guide, I’ll give you tips on how to make your Trampler’s entrance safer against boarding players.
How to Make a Secure Trampler Entrance
The only way to make your Trampler’s entrance more secure in this game is to try to funnel players towards a door.
The reason for this is that boarding hostile players can not open doors. Instead, they’ll need to use explosives to blow the door open. This gives them away, making it so that the Trampler’s owners can detect the intruding players.

With that in mind, the easiest way to make a secure entrance is to get the S&H Wooden Entrance Vestibule. It’s the bottom unlock on the first tier of the K.K. Landwehr Tech Tree, as shown above.
This is essentially an upgraded enclosed version of the default entrance. You can use it to replace the default entrance. You can also attach other rooms and frames to the 4 sides of the vestibule, as well as build on top of it.

It’s a good idea to try to connect this vestibule to other rooms with doors. For example, you can try to funnel players into a Crew Quarters. Try to make a predictable path through your Trampler, for example. Make it so you can anticipate and react to boarding players more easily.
How exactly you accomplish this is ultimately up to you, since there’s a lot of customization on how you build the Trampler! Nonetheless, the gist of it is simple: make sure boarding players need to go loud by blowing up doors to give themselves away.
With that said, now you know the basics on how to make a more secure Trampler entrance in Sand: Raiders of Sophie. You can’t fully block other players from boarding, but using doors and Vestibules as roadblocks can help you deal with them!
