Thermosap Crystals are one of the most important crafting resources in Pacific Drive. It is the main resource you should be focusing on gathering to power up your car. At some points in the game, it is even necessary for progression.

Finding some Thermosap crystals can be tough, as they aren’t marked on your map or anything. Initially, you’ll have to spend a while to find even a few of these crystals. You always need more though, so we’re going to inform you of a couple of potential ways to find some reliably.

How to Get How to Get ThermoSap Crystals

Thermosap crystals can be found inside Abandoned Squires and by breaking Sap Compressors. The latter of these options is more viable after an early game, but you can still find some early on. There are more details provided below.

Abandoned Squires

While exploring Pacific Drive’s world, you’ll often come across some broken up cars. Some of these have metal brackets on the top, these are called Abandoned Squires. These are usually yellow in color and appear to be rusted.

Be sure not to confuse them with the regular rusted cars, as those don’t have the resources we need to collect.

You’ll often find Thermosap crystals embedded into the sides of these broken cars. These are old police cars, meaning they have stronger panels and parts. This is most likely the reason Abandoned Squires provide Thermosap crystals while other rusted cars don’t.

You can find Abandoned Squires pretty easily. They’re almost everywhere you look, including the roadsides and all of the different structures in the game too.

Even if they don’t have thermosap crystals, they probably have something worth picking up regardless. Just keep unlocking different routes and keeping an eye out for any broken cars you see.

Sap Compressors

The other method of finding Thermosap crystals is by breaking Sap Compressors. These are large glowing crystals that can be broken by using Impact Hammers. Once broken, you can pick up the pieces to get a bunch of Thermosap Crystals.

These are placed randomly across the map. You’ll find more of these once you’re a bit more into the game, so it’s better to prioritize searching for Abandoned Squires early on. These do have more Thermosap crystals on average, however.

The process of finding Thermosap crystals should be significantly easier with this information. The resource is an extremely important one, so it’s not a bad idea to prioritize gathering it every once in a while.
