Palworld: Will There be PvP in Early Access?

Palworld is an upcoming open-world survival game. The game allows you to traverse its world with mysterious little creatures called “Pals”. You can fight, farm, build, and work alongside these creatures.

Developed by Pocketpair, Palworld places a lot of focus on its online multiplayer mode. So, what does its online mode look like and will the game have PvP?

Will There be PvP in Early Access?

The early access of Palworld is being released on the 19th of January. The game can be purchased on Steam for $29.99.

Palworld’s early access will not have a PvP mode. This was communicated directly by Pocketpair on their official discord channel. The main focus of the game for now will be on PvE and its offline single-player mode.

This game will still have a very expansive multiplayer experience. Players can start multiplayer games and invite up to three friends. Palworld will also allow private server hosting on launch. A maximum of 32 people can play on these private servers.

Despite not being a part of the game on release, PvP is still something we can expect to see in the future. Pocketpair has stated that they are currently testing PvP internally and experimenting with different approaches.

The devs have stated that they want to make sure that the PvP mode they release fits the game. We can expect to hear more about this from the Pocketpair team in the near future.

What Can We Expect From Palworld’s PvP?

When it comes to PvP, a game like Palworld has a lot of different ways in which it can introduce a PvP system.

Pocketpair has said that they will provide a year 1 road map after launch. Alongside a PvP mode, there are a lot of other development plans being worked on. 

PvP has been something a lot of people have been asking for on online forums and social media. Players will be hoping to see a PvP mode soon so they can test themselves against their friends and other players.
