Destiny 2: Haunted Seasonal Weapons God Roll Guide
Season of the Haunted brings forth a variety of new Haunted seasonal weapons up for grabs. Each of them has its own specialty, and while some are surely powerful; others, not too much.
There are a total of 6 new Haunted weapons introduced in Season 17. These weapons can all be earned by completing activities throughout the season. What’s worth noting is that these weapons are available in various types, with even a melee-type weapon included.
In this guide, we’re going to have a look at what these weapons are, how you can get them, and which perks you want to aim for.
Haunted Seasonal Weapons God Roll Guide in Destiny 2
First off, we’re going to start by learning how to farm these seasonal Haunted weapons. There are actually ways you can get hold of these weapons.
One of the most common methods is to simply brute force your way to Nightmare Containment and defeat The Machinist on tier 3 as quickly as possible. Doing so will allow you to open the chest which will contain a ton of goodies.
Another method is to unlock Haunted weapon focusing through the use of Figments of Darkness. However, you will need to upgrade the Crown of Sorrow a few times. Also, you need to obtain the Haunted weapon you can focus first. This makes it a good option if you’re looking for good weapon perks.
The third option is to craft them at The Enclave. This will require you to complete Deepsight Resonance extractions to unlock the crafting option for a specific Haunted weapon.
Now that we’ve got that out of the way, let’s now talk about the new Haunted weapons one by one.
Bump in the Night
This is a stasis rocket launcher that can deal pretty decent damage with the potential to go even higher. However, it has low base damage and poor handling which makes it not that viable for the meta. As for the perks, you’ll want to aim for Volatile Launch and Vorpal.
Without Remorse
Without Remorse is a pellet shotgun that deals Solar damage, and with the Solar 3.0 rework, this makes it even better when paired with the Incandescent perk. This means you can do mass explosions on any enemy you kill, not to mention it even inflicts Burn to nearby enemies.
Hollow Denial
The Hollow Denial is a trace rifle that deals Void element and comes with a good selection of perks. There are two really good perks you’ll want to aim for. First is the Repulsor Brace that gives you an overshield each time you kill a Void-debuffed target.
Then there’s the Killing Tally which increases your damage each time you kill an enemy but will disappear until you reload.
Nezarec’s Whisper
Destiny 2’s first ever Arc Glaive, Nezarec’s Whisper is a cool and amazingly powerful glaive that has a pretty magnificent perk pool. There are a handful of perks that go perfectly with it.
A few notable examples include Demolitionist, Genesis, Adaptive Munitions, Extrovert, Adrenaline Junkie, and Lightweight Emitter.
Tears Of Contrition
If you’re a fan of scout rifles, then you’ll definitely like Tears of Contrition. It’s not really as powerful as the other weapons in the game, but it does pair well with a handful of amazing perks.
It has the potential to do well in high-end content when paired with Triple Tap Explosive as well as Fourth Time’s the Charm. This combination will give you a near-limitless bullet supply which does kinda sound fun.
Firefright
Perhaps the worst weapon that got introduced in the new season, Firefright doesn’t have a lot of stuff going for it. Aside from its underwhelming damage, it’s a Kinetic weapon, which means that it doesn’t have any elemental synergy you can take advantage of.
Also, it has a pretty bad perk pool. So if you’re aiming for this weapon, then I suggest you don’t invest too much in it.
