In the early stages of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, you’ll often come across blocked paths with no way of getting around them. Destructible walls aren’t exactly as they seem, and there’s a solution to breaking them.
To unlock blocked paths, you will need to advance in the storyline until you find the necessary means to unblock the pathways and obtain some new manifestations for Antea. That said, here’s how to break destructible ways in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
How to Break Destructible Walls
When playing with Red, destructible walls simply seem like an unbreakable cluster of rocks and a blocked pathway. But switching to Antea, they’ll see a blue light shining in and amongst the cluster of rocks, as seen in the image above.
The blue lights are an indication that the walls are destructive and possibly have some hidden treasures behind them. Destructive walls aren’t just limited to clusters of rocks, they may also be constructed out of planks of wood.
Get Outburst Manifestation
Destructible walls won’t be able to break until Antea gains the outburst manifestation. To get the manifestation, you’ll need to follow Antea to the Mire Marches, after defeating the beast.
Then, go to the Mossy Watchtower Shelter and use the rifle to unlock the door, as seen in the image above.
Enter the shelter and start a fire. Once you’ve lit the fire, you’ll have to interact with Antea.
After interacting with Antea in the shelter, you will have unlocked the Outburst manifestation for her.
Use Outburst to Break Destructible Walls
Once you’ve rested at the shelter in the Mire Marshlands, you can use Antea’s Outburst manifestation for the first time. The ability is powerful enough to break down destructible walls made of wood and rocks.
To break destructible walls:
Switch to characters to Antea
Approach the destructible wall
Press and hold the R2/RB for a few seconds and it will release an outburst!
In addition, the outburst attack ability can also be used in combat to get rid of large groups of enemies. Release and outburst and tear down the walls!
