There are literally hundreds of Pals for you to capture in Palworld, but certain locations are the best hotspots for certain rare Pal species.
Some of the rare Pals are surprising, too, such as the Grizzbolt. Despite being prominently featured in marketing, there’s only one area in the entire game where you can find it!
So, to make these rare Pals a little less rare, we’ll tell you where to go to catch ‘em all.
The downside? These areas are protected sanctuaries, so capturing these Pals is illegal.
Nonetheless, there are three Wildlife Sanctuaries on 3 different corners of the map. Each one is home to the rarest Pals, such as the ones we mentioned before.
The location of all three Wildlife Sanctuaries is shown on the map above, surrounded by red circles.
Reaching these areas will most likely require to have a swimming Pal, such as Surfent.
Surfents are most commonly found at night, the image above shows their habitats to make them easier for you to catch.
You will also need to get the Surfent Saddle, which is one of the many Pal Gears you can craft. The technology for it can be unlocked as early as Level 10.
Going to the Wildlife Sanctuaries
With your surfing Pal in tow, you just have to mount them and sail off towards the distant Wildlife Sanctuary island of your choosing.
Do note, though, that visiting these sanctuaries counts as a criminal activity. The guards on the island will attack you on sight if they see you trying to poach the Pals living there.
There are two workarounds to prevent them from alerting and giving you a Wanted status, though.
The first workaround is to simply go at night. There’s no one running guard duty on the night shift, strangely enough, so you are free to capture all the Pals you want!
The second workaround is to use a Flying Pal. For some reason, hovering slightly off the ground will prevent the game from counting you as trespassing.
This, in turn, means that you aren’t committing criminal activity as you are technically not on the island. The world of Palworld isn’t a stranger to legal loopholes, it seems!
It’s kind of a hilarious workaround, too, but it will most likely get patched out eventually…
Either way, make sure to bring plenty of the best Pal Spheres you have. Rare Pals go hand-in-hand with low Capture Rates, so you need to bring the best Spheres possible.
But well, now you know where to go to capture the rarest Pals in the entire game!
