There are plenty of things you must learn before having your base in Palworld, and knowing how to get Paldium is one of the most important. Surviving in this universe is very challenging, and getting the most resources very early can make your game much easier.
Paldium is used for very important early-stage recipes, and having a big reserve of Paldium Fragments is a necessity.
There are plenty of spots where you can find it in the wild, but the chances of getting a lot are slim. Here, we will tell you which are the perfect places to get this mineral.
How to Get Paldium
You can find the biggest amount of Paldium in shiny blue rocks scattered on the map, usually near shards of this mineral.
One way to gather it is by looking for the sharps on the map or mining bit rocks, but this isn’t the most efficient way.
You can get three, maybe for shards per rock, and it will take you a lot of time mining them until they break. With a Stone Pickaxe, you could get more, but this isn’t always the case.
Your best bet is to look for bodies of water. Usually, you can find Paldium near almost any type of river, lake, and the like, in large quantities.
We suggest you make a Stone Pickaxe and look in all the lakes you have nearby at the beginning of the game, so you can save a lot of time just mining the right rocks instead of looking for shards everywhere.
How to Farm Paldium Fragments
If you reach level 8, you can unlock the Crusher in the technology menu, which is the best tool to farm Paldium very early in the game too.
As the name implies, the crusher crushes rocks, and rocks have Paldium inside of them. For every 5 rocks, approximately, you can find five fragments, making this a very easy way to get a lot of it without having to run around.
Almost every Pal with 1 water ability can work the stone; with this, they can work in the stone pit and put what they find in the crusher.
Surviving in the wild and finding pals when you know nothing about the game is challenging. Learning where to find some resources, like this one, is key. Besides, you need Paldium to capture more Pals, so don’t miss any shiny rocks.
