Lifmunk was one of the first Pals shown when Palworld was first announced, and it showed the game’s unique charm by having the cute little chipmunk shooting enemies with a Submachine Gun.
Turns out, though, Lifmunks don’t just naturally have a submachine gun. You’ll first need to capture a Lifmunk, and then you’ll need to craft the Submachine Gun for it.
In this guide, we’ll tell you everything you need to know to get your Lifmunk Pal a gun so that it can aid you in battle!
How to Get Lifmunk and Give It a Submachine Gun
Lifmunk is one of the earliest Pals you can find, and it’s very common southeast of the Rayne Syndicate Tower entrance.
We’re sure you’ve seen it already, thanks to the images in this very article, but Lifmunk is a green squirrel-like creature.
You can capture it extremely easily by damaging it somewhat and then throwing a Pal Sphere at it. It’s a weak creature, so it doesn’t resist very much.
Now that you have your very own Lifmunk, you need to unlock the “Lifmunk’s Submachine Gun” technology. It’s a Level 11 technology and only requires 1 Technology Point to unlock!
Additionally, you will also need a Pal Gear Workbench, which is a Level 6 Technology.
When you’ve learned both of these technologies, build a Pal Gear Workbench and interact with it. Simply craft the Lifmunk’s Submachine Gun at the workbench.
You will need 3 Leather, 5 Wool, and 5 Paldium Fragments!
Once you’ve built the Submachine Gun for your little Lifmunk, just summon it by taking it out of its Pal Sphere. You’ll now notice that you can use the “Lifmunk Recoil” ability
Hold the Partner Skill button and Lifmunk will jump on top of your head and fire a barrage of bullets wherever you aim!
The skill is limited use, though, so you can’t just have the little fella keep firing forever. Nonetheless, the extra firepower definitely comes in handy.
Anyway, now you know how to get Lifmunk and give them a Submachine Gun to aid you in battle. Make sure to strengthen your Lifmunk even further via infusion or breeding to boost the damage it does!
