There’s a particularly treacherous part in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader’s main questline, which might make you think you’re permanently stuck at Governor Vyatt’s Estate.

Don’t worry if you feel like you’re permanently stuck in a room during the quest, though. This isn’t a softlock, you just need to interact with a certain object to open the path!

In this guide, we’ll tell you how to past a certain tricky room in Governor Vyatt’s Estate just like the Eurac V Lab puzzle. Do be warned, though, there will be some spoilers.

What To Do To Proceed Iside Governor Vyatt’s Estate

You can potentially be locked inside of Governor Vyatt’s Estate after a certain point in the World Shapers quest.

This happens if your meeting with Governor Vyatt at her estate goes south. Acts of hostility towards the Governor will cause her to raise some barriers in the room you’re in, locking you and your party.

There is no clear exit, but one of the interactable items in the room will remove the barriers!

You see these unassuming candles on one of the pillars in the room? Just click on it to interact and open the barriers.

Do note that you’ll need to pass a Tech-Use skill check as well, though.

If you’re having trouble finding the candles, you can press the TAB key on PC to highlight them.

Console users can instead press either L1/LB or R1/RB to cycle through interactable objects until the candles are highlighted.

So there you have it, quick and easy! Somewhat foolish of the Governor to make it so easy to lower the barriers, but we’re sure she had her reasons for it.

As a last tip, though, we highly recommend that you make a save at this point. There are many fierce battles waiting for you past the barriers, considering the Governor’s untimely demise and what not.

Anyway, we wish you the best of luck returning to your Rogue Trader duties and exploring the galaxy!
