AndrésDungeons 4 has a large list of extra tasks you can accomplish throughout every stage in the game, and these tasks will reward you with various achievements.
Some are as simple as just destroying enemy units, while others will require you to play perfectly and avoid taking any damage during a stage.
Either way, we’ve got tips and tricks to help you get every single achievement in the game! Ready to get 100% in Dungeons 4? Read on and we’ll tell you everything you need to know!
How Achievements Work in Dungeons 4
There are 20 stages to play through in Dungeons 4, with each one having 3 achievements tied to them. Additionally, there’s a hidden achievement tied to one of the stages, making for a total of 61 achievements you can get!
You can replay these stages however often you wish, and there are no achievements tied to difficulty either. If you’re having trouble, feel free to lower the difficulty!
Also, every stage has an achievement just for beating it. That means you’ll get 20 of the 61 achievements just by beating every stage. These are named after their respective stages and are unmissable, so we won’t be covering them in this guide.
The other 41 will require specific conditions, however. Now, we’ll be detailing every so that you don’t miss out on anything!
Now, let’s dive into the details, taking it stage by stage!
Stage 1: The Last Stand
The first stage is unsurprisingly quite simple to get achievements on! Proceed slowly through the stage and make sure you use Thalya’s Fury every time you encounter Heroes.
Killing 10 Heroes while the skill is active will earn you the “Thalya’s – Concentrated Fury” achievement.
Then all that’s left to do is to complete the stage without letting Thalya die, which will unlock the “Thalya – Simply Immortal” achievement.
Stage 2: Hammer Time, Round Two
The two achievements to look out for here are “Trap Master” and “For The Horde!”.
“Trap Master” is simple enough, you just need to kill 10 Heroes with traps. It’s easiest to do by placing your traps near the exit of the Heroes’ own base or the entrance to your own dungeon.
Note that you can place Saw and Spike traps in the same spot, and you can also place Thresher and Poison traps on top of each other. Exploit this to maximize the damage done by your traps!
Now, “For The Horde!”, which requires you to have 10 Creatures at once. All you need to do is focus your Research to max out the Horde badge, then start creating Creatures until you have 10.
Stage 3: The Hellwoods
The first achievement to look out for in this stage is “Master of Magic”, which requires you to have an Arcanium with 100% efficiency. The starting one will do, so you don’t need more than one!
To reach 100% efficiency, ensure that the Arcanium has walls on all sides and that all floors are turned into Arcanium as well.
The second achievement is “Magic Accidents”, which just requires you to kill 20 Heroes with spells. This is simple enough on paper, you just need to use spells like Bat Swarm or Meteor Shower to take them out.
However, Dungeons 4 isn’t a perfect game so this is one of the buggy achievements you will encounter. Sometimes it will just refuse to unlock, forcing you to retry the stage!
It’s somewhat of a crapshoot as to why it bugs out, but some players recommend using only Meteor Shower for the achievement. Others reported that it unlocked using only Bat Swarm.
Restart and try using a single spell if the achievement doesn’t unlock for you! We hope you don’t get hit by this nasty bug, though.
Stage 4: The Plains of Strothalm
The first achievement here is “Sacrificial Pit = Garbage Disposal?”. You’ll notice there’s a Sacrificial Pit in the Underworld in this stage.
You can throw pretty much anything you want into it! Gold, toolboxes, corpses, anything! Throw 6 different things into the Sacrificial Pit and the achievement will unlock.
Next, focus on “Minions, Minions!”. This achievement tasks you with having 60 Minions at the same time during this stage.
To accomplish this, make sure to take over every single Burial Chamber in the Overworld. You’ll also want to level up your Creatures to level 3.
Additionally, you need a completed Temple and lots of Blight, as this will allow your Creatures to summon minions. Every Creature should have 2 Minions!
With those conditions met, just keep summoning additional minions until you reach 60 and the achievement will pop up.
Stage 5: Bad Elves Go Everywhere
The first achievement here is “Unicorn steaks – fresh off the hoof!”. To get it, you need to defeat the Unicorn in the stage in less than 30 minutes.
Cutscene time counts into the 30 minutes you have, so you should skip cutscenes to have more leniency!
Focus your time on strengthening your troops and then attack the Unicorn near the Dungeon as soon as possible and you should get it.
The second achievement is “Experienced Thalya”, which is unlocked once Thalya reaches Level 3 during this stage. It’s pretty easy to get after you’ve killed the Unicorn, just have Thalya return to the Dungeon and kill every single enemy in the way.
Stage 6: Heroes’ Gorge
Things are a bit more challenging here, with the first achievement being “YOU SHALL NOT PASS!”. You’ll get this one if you intercept every single shipment in this stage.
The shipments won’t start coming until you capture the Magic Tower in the Overworld, though, so that gives you some time to prepare. Make sure all your spells are ready and you have enough Mana to spam spells!
As soon as you capture the Magic Tower, open a portal and return to the Dungeon. Take all your Creatures and bring them to the Overworld.
Now, split your team in half and send one half to the bottom left and another to the bottom right of the map. You should focus on the top left corner of the map.
You can deal with the final shipment waves in the top right corner of the map by using the Magic Tower. It’s tough, but do it right and the achievement will pop once you complete the chapter!
The second achievement in this stage is “Mana Cannon”, which you get by killing 60 Heroes using the Magic Tower.
You can get it easily by bombing the remaining Hero groups on the map after you deal with the shipments.
Stage 7: The Ascent
The first achievement here is an easy but annoying one, “It’s Warm and Cozy at Home”. It’s earned by not letting any unit be exposed to the storm in this stage.
Pay attention to the weather forecast on the upper right corner of the screen, and focus on getting Demon Portals so you can return to the Underworld once a storm approaches.
Simply swap back and forth between Underworld and Overworld to avoid the storms until you complete the goal to get the Artifact.
Storms will dispel for the rest of the run once you have the Artifact, guaranteeing you get the achievement.
The second achievement is “Pure Dynamite!”, which requires you to kill 10 Heroes using dynamite.
Use Thalya to aggro Heroes and have them chase her down, then get close to dynamite carts. The heroes should start attacking the dynamite cart as well, which will eventually blow up and kill the Heroes. Just repeat it until you get 10 kills this way.
But these two achievements aren’t all this stage has to offer! Remember how we mentioned a hidden achievement at the start of this guide? Well, it’s time to get it!
The hidden achievement is “Hard Work”, which requires you to blow up a rocky formation with a dynamite cart in the Overworld of this stage.
Which rocky formation you need to destroy is randomized each attempt, however. You know you got the right one when you get some riches and Thalya talks about her hard work.
Stage 8: The Big Eaty
The first achievement for this stage is “Not Even a Tiny Thin Mint Wafer, Thanks!”, which you get by overfeeding Gorgu in this stage.
You can feed Gorgu by giving him imprisoned Heroes from your prison. Eventually, he will be sated, but keep feeding him to get an extra quest titled “Feed Gorgu EVEN MORE Heroes”.
Keep feeding Gorgu to complete this quest and get the achievement!
How do you get Heroes in this stage, though? You should get them when you go for the second achievement on this stage: “Hungry, Hungry Gorgu!”.
Heroes will come to attack Gorgu in your dungeon at one point in the stage. To get the achievement, make sure that Gorgu doesn’t get hurt at all. It’s quite tough!
Make sure to build a snakelike maze full of traps to delay the heroes and damage them as much as possible. Also, make sure to surround Gorgue with strong walls and doors.
It’s also a good idea to level up your Little Snots to Level 4, as this will allow them to restock your traps.
Lastly, make sure to focus on Golden Portals once they appear! Destroy them quickly to prevent yourself from getting overwhelmed by heroes.
Repel the heroes, feed Gorgu as much as possible, and finish the stage to get both achievements.
Stage 9: … Like Son
The first achievement in this stage brings back our good ol’ pal Gorgu from the previous stage, “Dungeonlord Gorgu.” Have Gorgu kill 50 Heroes to get the achievement.
You can summon Gorgu anytime by using the Dungeonlord Gorgu spell, which requires 100 Evilness. It’s best to use in the Overworld when facing large groups of Heroes.
Just focus on letting Gorgu kill 50 Heroes and you should get this achievement without much trouble.
The second achievement is “Forbidden Knowledge”, which you’ll get if you beat this stage without researching Potions or Spells. It’s simple and self-explanatory, just don’t research any of the following:
- Voodoo Brew
- Basic Potions
- Complex Potions
- Spells
- Expert Spells
Beat the stage without unlocking any of these researches and you’ll get your achievement!
Stage 10: The Cathedral of Light
We’re about halfway through Dungeons 4 now, and you should have almost half of the achievements by now! It’s a pretty long game with how much time each stage takes, huh?
The first achievement in this stage is quite simple. “Unstoppable Horde” is earned when you destroy every Cage and Hero building in the stage.
Just destroy everything before completing the stage and you’ll get the achievement!
The second achievement is a tad more involved: “Shame! Shame! Shame!” is earned once you complete the quest of the same name. Pay attention to the quests you get during this stage!
Once the “Shame! Shame! Shame!” quest pops up, stop what you’re doing and travel to the Overworld.
Now look for a caravan on your map that’s marked with an exclamation mark and approach it as it follows its route.
Intercept the caravan and free the Naga inside to complete the quest and get the achievement.
Stage 11: Tanos’ Crusade Against Thalya
Despite being so far into the game, this stage’s achievements are actually pretty easy and straightforward. It’s a welcome respite for sure!
Anyway, the first achievement is “Ghost Pirates? Ghost Heroes!” which will unlock once you create 5 Ghost Heroes.
To accomplish that, build an Ice Tomb and 5 Hero’s Graves. Bring a hero’s corpse to any of the Hero’s Graves and you will create one Ghost Hero!
Just repeat the process 4 more times to unlock the achievement.
The second achievement is “Master of the Undead”, which you will earn by beating the stage by only using Undead Creatures.
The trick here is that you can still research and use Spells, but avoid using any non-Undead creatures!
Stage 12: All’s Well That Ends Evil
The first achievement for this stage is “Stop Tanos!”, which unlocks if you beat the stage without allowing Tanos to collect 6000 Evilness.
You’ll need to be fast and move around constantly, trying to avoid meeting Tanos while collecting as much Evilness as possible yourself. The more you collect, the less Tanos will be able to find!
Make sure to fully upgrade your Vault of Evilness and focus on villages, Good Beings (the frog and the unicorn), and shipments.
For the second achievement, “My Little Torture Chamber”, you’ll need to torture at least 20 different Heroes.
Build a Torture Chamber within your dungeon and have at least 3 Torture Implements, then capture and torture the heroes. Slapping tortured souls to death can also help speed up the process!
Stage 13: The Duel
The first achievement in this stage will take you hunting: “Bonus Evilness”. This achievement unlocks once you defeat the “Good Beings” on the stage.
Both of them are on the rightmost side of the map and take the form of a frog and a house. Yup, a house is considered a good being, somehow! The game will let you know when you’re close to them, so they’re easy to find.
The second achievement is “Gorgu is in the Best of Health”. At the end of the quest, Gorgu will face Tanos, which is the duel that gives this stage its name! Don’t allow Gorgu’s HP to drop below 70%.
Make good use of the Dungeonlord Healing and Dungeonlord’s Attack skills to keep Gorgu healthy and dealing damage, respectively.
Also make sure to have a strong army yourself, which should focus on fighting any Heroes that approach Gorgu!
If your army isn’t dealing with Heroes, focus their attacks on Tanos to help turn the duel in Gorgu’s favor. It’s tough, but beat Tanos without Gorgu suffering too much damage and you’ll get the achievement.
Stage 14: If Looks Could Kill
In this stage, you should focus on completing the Council’s requests to obtain a Mirror. This mirror will be key to both of the achievements for this stage!
The first achievement is “Mirror, Mirror”, which unlocks if you beat the stage using the Mirror a maximum of 3 times.
Once you have the Mirror, use it and place it anywhere in your dungeon. Try to predict where Tanos’ Laser Eyes will target and place the Mirror on its path.
Sadly, the Mirror will break every time it stops the Laser Eyes, but it at least stops Tanos for a while! Complete the Council’s Requests again to get more Mirrors.
However, make sure to not use more than 3 Mirrors in a single attempt to get the “Mirror, Mirror” achievement.
For the second achievement, “Laser Eyes Are So Useless”, you’ll need to make sure that Tanos’ Laser Eyes don’t destroy a single Room Tile.
Pay close attention to the Laser Eyes’ movement and make sure that they don’t reach any of your rooms.
You can dig up paths to make corridors and place your Mirror, just make sure the Laser Eyes don’t wreck any of your Room Tiles.
It’s a very tough achievement, and the random movements of the lasers can make it quite a pain! You’ll also very likely need more than 3 Mirror uses to achieve this, making it hard to get both achievements in one go.
Stage 15: The Finitude Drill
The previous stage was truly painful when it comes to achievements, but this one is a bit more lenient.
The first achievement is “Sabotage!”, which you get by destroying all three cooling pumps on the map. They’re all marked with red flags on your map, so they’re extremely easy to find!
Just rush them down with your army and wreck them as soon as possible.
The second achievement is a tad tougher, though. “Untouchable” requires you to complete the stage without letting your Dungeonheart take any damage at all!
Make sure to have strong doors and lots of traps protecting the Dungeonheart, as well as having the Demon Portal spell ready so you can return to the dungeon in case of an attack.
Stage 16: Doom Hill
The first achievement in this stage is “Lavalumps On Ice!”, which you earn by destroying 10 Lavalumps with the Charmanor relic.
There are two Charmanor relics, however: a small one and a larger one. One is found in the Graveyard while the other is found below the Vault of Evilness, but their positions seem to swap randomly each run.
You’ll also need to focus on upgrading your Little Snots to Level 5, as they’re necessary to get the relics.
Either way, get the large Charmanor relic and place it next to a Lavalump Nest, then wait for it to slowly kill the 10 Lavalumps needed!
For the second achievement, “Rubble and Ashes”, you need to make sure that all Hero buildings are destroyed when you complete the chapter.
Just go on a rampage and wreck the buildings, but be warned that the pesky Heroes will try to rebuild their buildings after some time. Make sure that none are left standing before completing the stage to get the achievement.
Stage 17: Raiders of the Lost Stone
We’re almost nearing the end of Dungeons 4 and its achievements list. It’s been quite a journey so far, huh? But it’s not time for Thalya to rest just yet, there are still a few stages left!
Anyway, the first achievement in this stage is “Brimstone Shaken, Not Stirred.” It’s a very simple one, just mine 10 Brimstone segments to trigger explosions and earn the achievement.
Brimstone segments are marked with green when you highlight them, so they’re easy to spot.
The second achievement is “No Mana, No Cry”, which you’ll unlock by wrecking every Mana Shipment before they reach their destination.
As a pre-requisite, make sure that you mine the Brimstone until you reach the underground Dwarf camp, as this will give you another exit out of the Dungeon. It’ll be key to moving around quickly!
Before the Mana Shipments even start appearing, also make sure to have an army of Creatures camping by the bottom left entry point on the map.
Other than that, you’ll just need to use the Demon Portal to quickly travel between Mana Shipments, destroying them one at a time. Be fast enough and keep them from reaching their destination!
Stage 18: The Rune Sockets of Finitude (Part 1)
The first achievement for this stage is “To the Max!”, which unlocks if you get all Faction Research to Level 10 during the stage.
Focus on getting your Little Snots to Level 3 first and also raid some Hero Camps early on for resources. Then research 1 or 2 Factions at a time until they reach Level 10.
It’s fairly easy since you only need the Faction itself to reach Level 10, not any of the sub-sections of their respective research options!
The second achievement ties into the first one and is called “To Infinity And Beyond!”. To get it, you’ll need to train 5 units to Level 11.
This can only be done once you have at least one Faction at Level 10 and build Vault of Might with a Pylon. Meet those conditions and you’ll be able to train 5 Creatures to Level 11, getting the achievement.
Stage 19: The Rune Sockets of Finitude (Part 2)
The first achievement for this stage is “Heal Heal Blessing”, which just requires you to use the Healing Stone to heal 10000 total damage.
This is quite a simple achievement and you should honestly get it just by playing through the stage normally, just keep it in mind as you play.
The second achievement is “Hands Off My Stones”, which is awarded by beating the stage without allowing any of the Stones in the Dungeon to take damage.
As usual with this type of achievement, you should have a quick army of Creatures as well as a Dungeon full of strong doors, walls, and lots of traps.
Protect the Stones at all costs, as any damage will negate the achievement!
Stage 20: The Last Stand – This Time For Real!
At long last, the true last stand marks the end of our Dungeons 4 achievement guide. Complete these achievements and you’ll be able to claim your glorious 100% in Dungeons 4!
Your first achievement here is to destroy every single Hero building on the map to get the “Evilification” achievement.
This is very straightforward, but it’s much easier to achieve if you prevent the Tanos and Gorgu duel from crossing the rainbow bridge at the center of the map.
If they cross too far across the bridge, Golden Portals will start appearing and putting your Dungeon at risk.
This isn’t the end of the world by any means, but it does make focusing on destruction harder as you will also need to protect the Dungeonheart.
The second achievement for this stage, and the last one on our guide, is “I Don’t Need Any Help”. This is a surprisingly easy achievement: just refuse to call Tristan for help during the chapter!
Avoid pressing the button on the top right corner of the screen and you’ll meet the conditions for this achievement.
Meet these two achievement conditions and beat the stage to get your final achievement in Dungeons 4! Congratulations on your 100%, you’re a true Master of Evil Dungeons!
