Vampire Survivors: Tides of the Foscari: How to Unlock Everything

A new DLC is here to feed people’s Vampire Survivors’ addiction. Tides of the Foscari adds a couple of new stages, new characters, and new weapons for you to play with.

However, most of the new content will require you to unlock it!

In this guide, we’ll tell you what you need to do to unlock everything that’s new in the DLC.

How to Unlock the Basic New Characters in Tides of the Foscari

Eleanor is the first new character you will unlock in the DLC.

You just have to start the new Lake Foscari stage and approach her coffin, which is marked with a question mark on your map.

You can unlock Maruto Cuts once you have Eleanor. Simply play as Eleanor and survive for 15 minutes while making sure to level up and evolve SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike.

Finally, you can unlock Keitha Muort by surviving as Maruto Cuts for 15 minutes while getting max-level Armor. This will evolve his weapon, the Eskizzibur, which unlocks Keitha.

With the basic 3 characters accounted for, it’s time to move on to the rest of the unlocks!

How to Unlock the Other Stages of the DLC

Play as Keitha in Lake Foscari, and you will notice a new question mark leading you to a green crystal. You will need to evolve Keitha’s Flash Arrow to break it. Destroy it to unlock the Abyss Foscari stage.

Now, play as Maruto in the new Abyss Foscari stage. You will get yet another question mark, this time leading you to a red crystal. Use the evolved Eskizzibur to break this red seal.

Breaking the red crystal will unlock a new section of Abyss Fiscari and the Luminaire Foscari character.

Lastly, play as Eleanor in Abyss Foscari. Once again, you will find another crystal at a spot marked with a question mark. You will need Eleanor’s fully evolved weapons to break this crystal, as before.

This will unlock the Genevieve Gruyère character and spawn a powerful boss. Defeating the boss will unlock Hyper Mode for Abyss Foscari.

How to Get the Extra Characters and New Weapons

If you’ve done everything outlined in the rest of the guide, you should only have three characters left to unlock.

• Je-Ne-Viv is unlocked by killing 100,000 enemies in a single run while playing as Genevieve.
• Rottin’ Ghoul is unlocked by defeating a total of 6,000 Rotting Ghouls. They only spawn in Abyss Foscari.
• Sammy is unlocked by defeating 6,000 Sammies. They spawn frequently in the forested areas of Lake Foscari.

You should now have every character in Tides of Foscari! The only thing left to do is to get the remaining new weapons.

• SpellString, SpellStorm, and SpellStrike are unlocked by surviving for 15 minutes as Eleanor, so you should have already obtained them.
• Eskizzibur is unlocked by surviving for 15 minutes as Maruto, which means you should have it already too.
• Flash Arrow is unlocked by surviving for 15 minutes as Keitha, as you might expect.
• Primastic Missile is unlocked by surviving for 15 minutes as Luminaire Foscari.
• Shadow Servant also requires you to survive for 15 minutes as Genevieve.
• Party Popper can be purchased from the Merchant once you’ve unlocked it.

Lastly, here are all the new weapon evolutions in this DLC:

• Legionnaire is obtained by evolving Ezkizzibur with a max-level Armor.
• SpellStorm is obtained by having SpellString, SpellStream, and SpellStrike at max level.
• Millionaire is obtained by having Flash Arrow with Clover and Bracer, all at max level.
• Luminaire is obtained by evolving Prismastic Missile with a max-level Crown.
• Ophion is evolved from Shadow Servant with a max-level Skull O’Maniac.

You should have unlocked most of these naturally as you progressed through the new stages and unlocked the new characters!
