There are loads of science resources in Slime Rancher 2 and you need them all throughout the game, to create the perfect sanctuary for your slimes.

Here is how to find them and harvest all the slime science resources.

How to Get All Slime Science Resources in Slime Rancher 2

Most importantly you will need to get yourself a resource harvester, the most important component of the game, and you can upgrade it. Next up you will need to get a jetpack for which you will need radiant ore.

Radiant ore is available pretty much everywhere in Ember valley or Starlight Strand. The white areas on the map are rock formations with some types of walls, follow that and you will find radiant ore on the edges that look like little cubes. Use vacuum and you will get radiant ore.

Jellystone and Deep Brine are found only in Rainbow Fields. Same as Radiant Ore, jellystone is found along the natural rock formation and inside caves. Go along the rocks and you will find specific little rocks with purple orbs on top which is the jellystone.

On the edges of rainbow fields, you can find deep brine which is in the sands of the coral-crusted type pool areas. It looks like a blue umbrella waterfall that comes up from the ground.

How to get Silky sand, Wild Honey and Buzz Wax, Primordy Oil, and Lava Dust

Silky sand is available in Ember valley and Starlight strand in the coral crusted tide poll areas which contain only sand. It is mostly on the north side of Starlight Strand by the little island, with a small little area on Ember Valley.

Wild Honey and Buzz Wax are basically the same, they are found only in one area which is in the central area of Starlight Strand, you can find a lot of honey slime just down to the teleporter in the middle around the water area you can find a lot of wild honey and buzz wax.

Other ground resources are Primordy Oil and Lava Dust.

Primordy Oil is mostly found in Ember Valley in the coral area in the corners where you can find a few active nodes where you can harvest it.

Lava Dust is also only in Ember Valley, in the lava zone. Just follow the lava stream and when you see a black and orange umbrella-type waterfall from the ground it means that there is lava dust.

How to get Strange Diamond

The rarest resource in the game Strange Diamond, spawns very rarely, and it spawns anywhere in caves and tunnels. It takes time to find it, and the most common place is a tunnel in Starlight Strand where you can find up to two or three diamonds in less than an hour.
