Destiny 2 has launched its latest season, Season of Plunder, a pirate-themed season where you can get pirate cosmetics and quests that will bring out the pirate in you.
This new season, you are going to grind your Pirate Crew by doing missions. One of these missions is the Sails of the Shipstealer, and we are going to show you how to unlock and complete it.
Sails of the Shipstealer Mission Guide in Destiny 2 Season of Plunder
The Season of Plunder in Destiny 2 starts as you finish the Ahoy and Aweigh mission. Go to the Star Chart with the help of the ship and receive the No Reprieve shotgun as a reward for the mission.
After obtaining the reward, the Sails of the Shipstealer mission is unlocked. In the first week, there are 10 steps for the Sails of the Shipstealer mission.
Completing the Sails of the Shipstealer Mission
The Sails of the Shipstealer mission in Destiny 2 has 10 steps in the first week. These are:
After obtaining the mission, you are going to get the Captain’s Atlas
Map in the Captain’s Atlas. Go to the Captain’s Atlas and put in the basic Treasure Map
Loot buried treasure by doing an Expedition. Do the Expedition Playlist found on the map. Don’t forget to dig up the treasure to finish the third step.
Claim Successful Expedition found in the Weekly Challenge in the Season of Plunder section of the quests.
Go back to the H.E.L.M to upgrade the Star Chart. Interacting with it gives you a new treasure map. Go to the Pirate Crew and pick from the 3 different choices: Quartermaster, Navigator, and Swashbuckler to finish this step.
Complete the Pirate Hideout: Val’aug, the Brute. Go to map and select the Pirate Hideout: The Brute. This step will be completed when you obtain the Relic.
Visit the Eliksni Quarter Holoprojector and interact with it.
Visit Spider, who is also in the Eliksni Quarter.
Pick from 3 random choices. You may get a good weapon.
Talk with Spider again, completing this week’s Sails of the Shipstealer mission.
