Tower of Fantasy: How to Boost Your Damage Stats

In Tower of Fantasy, there are a number of ways to boost your damage output. Equipment enhancements, Resonance perks, the quality of your weapons, and a lot more.

How to Boost Damage Stats in Tower of Fantasy

The first thing you should optimize and probably the easiest way to boost your damage is through your gears.

Gears are equipped in the 8 slots for your character. The headgear, shoulder armor, body armor, wrist guards, belts, leg armor, gloves, and boots.

The first thing that you should do is to make sure you have equipped good gears on these slots. You can get starting gear easily if you do story missions and dungeons. Just be sure to swap your old gears with better ones as you get them in the game.

Gears are classed according to their rarity. Weapons with higher rarity have better stats and they give you better overall protection.

Starting Gears are grey, green, blue, purple, and gold. You can get good equipment in quests and dungeons. As for Gold gears, they can only be obtained on higher-difficulty dungeons in the game.

Now that you’ve equipped your gears, the next thing to do is to level up those gear slots. This is one of the perks in the game since if you level up your slot, it stays the same level even when swapping these slots for higher gears.

The best way to level up your slots is to spread your level to all slots. Reaching all 8 slots to level 10 grants you slot bonuses so keep that in mind and level the sets to 10 levels each until you max them out.

The next thing is to level your gear. At the early game, you would not have great gears to start with. To start, don’t level up your grey or starting gears. Only start upgrading them when you have blue, purple, or gold gears.

Upgrade your Main Weapons

The obvious choice for enhancing your damage is by upgrading your weapons. Doing this, you might want to plan before spending those enhancements on just any weapon you are currently using. Weapon upgrades require lots of enhancement items and weapon copies. So only enhance a weapon fully when you plan to use it as your main.

The next thing you should do is to ascend your weapon stars. You can do those by merging a duplicate copy of your weapon. Ascending not only enhances your weapon stats but at a higher level, it grants you extra effects or weapon buffs depending on the weapon you are ascending.

Use your Matrices

Enhancing and leveling up your weapon is just the first step to maximizing your damage potential for the weapon type. Next, you have to attach matrices to the weapon slots.

Weapons have a total of 4 matrices slots. These are the emotion slot, mind slot, belief slot, and memory slot. Depending on the combination of matrices you put onto your weapon, the higher the attributes or enhancement the weapon gets.

To maximize matrices always go for set effects. It is best to have a minimum of two matrices of the same type before you set matrices to activate. With all four slotted with the same matrices, you would get higher enhancements or bonus stats that could up your damage by a good margin as well as give you boost effects.

Use the Attack Resonance

Another way to boost your damage stats is to activate the Attacker Resonance. You could do that by equipping 2 DPS Weapons. This would activate the Attacker perk that grants you 10% Final Damage to your base damage output. At a party, that damage increases up to 50%.

Awaken your Weapons

Awakening your weapon grants them perks and enhancements that boost your damage and survivability in the game. To do this, you give them gifts to raise their affection with you.

Be sure to give the right gift type to your weapons to maximize the experience being given. If the Character isn’t fond of the gift that you are giving them, the experience you get for these actions would be lower.

To sum things up, the things you need to do to boost your damage stats are to use and upgrade your gears and gear slots, enhance and awaken your weapon, equip matrices on the weapon slots, activate the Attacker Resonance and to awaken your Weapons.
