How to Prepare Tripods for Kakul and the Upcoming New System in Lost Ark

Tripods augment and enhances your skills. To level tripods up, you need to find gears with the same tripod at a higher level, which you can only get from Tier 3 Chaos Dungeons.

Preparation for Kakul needs level 4 tripods. To do this, you must collect gears that have level 4 in them. You can save these tripods in the library, but you will need to unlock inventory space first.

The Upcoming New System

In the current system, you can level your tripod is by obtaining a similar but higher-level tripod from a gear. However, doing this will destroy the gear. Alternatively, you can use the library method, allowing you to save your tripods.

 The library has 2 free inventory slots. When you save the tripods, you can transfer them to your current gear.

If you want to make one tripod into level 4 but the 2 other tripods are different, transferring them via the library will make you lose all of the current tripods in the current equipment.

In the new system, whatever you have saved in your library will be added permanently. In addition, you only need to have 1 copy of that tripod and save it in your library.

This allows you to pick any 3 tripods that you want in your gear. So, it’s better if you save gears that have level 4 tripods in them.

You can buy them from the market or grind tier 3 Chaos Dungeons. You can also sell gears with level 4 tripods you don’t need.
