Xenoblade Chronicles 3: How to Complete Big Friendly Friend

It’s no secret that Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a huge game. And just like any other RPG, it also comes with a bunch of side quests. However, you can actually find a lot of fun and meaningful side quests in the game, one of which is called Big Friendly Friend.

In this guide, I’ll show you how you can complete this quest as quickly as possible.

How to Complete Big Friendly Friend in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Big Friendly Friend is one of those “fetch” type quests that are standard in most RPGs. In this one, you will need to obtain hero Valdi first before you can even start as he is a requirement for the quest.

To start the quest, you need to head over to Colony 30 Canteen after acquiring info about Yuzet’s Reputation. In the canteen, discuss Yuzet’s Reputation in order to start the Big Friendly Friend quest. After that, you need to speak with Yuzet in order to start the next chain which includes delivering specific items to Repapa.

The items you need to gather are 21 Stinger Piles and 6 Splendorshells in order to deliver the Splendor Stinger. You can find Stinger Piles all around Colony 30, as they’re actually a common item.

You just have to look for them in the area directly outside of Colony 30. Specifically, you want to pick up items with a gear icon since they will most likely be Stinger Piles.

On the other hand, Splendorshells can be quite rare. You can find a handful of them on the location in this image:

After getting all of the items, go back to Repapa and turn them in until the progress gets to 100%. The quest is then complete after a short dialogue.
