The Swordfighter is a very balanced class in the game which is designed for characters with a high attacking stat. It’s the starting class of Noah who happens to be one of the main characters in the game.

Due to this, you will be able to use it on your party members as soon as you get the ability to change classes.

If you want to know how to use this class and make the most out of it, then check out the guide below.

As mentioned, the class is what Noah starts as. However, if you want to use it on your party members, you need to rank up with Noah first. After completing The Hillside Hulk quest in Chapter 2, you can now unlock the Swordfighter class.

Of the many characters you can unlock in the game, Noah and Sena are the best candidates for Swordfighters, thanks to their high attack stats. Another excellent candidate is Mio due to her high dexterity stat, though she lacks a bit in attack. Still, her high dexterity stat allows her attacks to be quite accurate.

When it comes to combat, Swordfighters excel at fighting a single target using specific arts which also help fill up their Talent Gauges. The best combat arts I could recommend for this purpose are Sword Strike, Edge Thrust, and Shadow Eye.

Maximizing a Swordfighter Build

The maximize the damage output of a Swordfighter, you want to focus on accessories that increase their attack damage. Also, you should aim for gems that increase both their Attack and Dexterity.

An ideal choice for an accessory is the Victor Gauntlet since Swordfighters can use arts that are designed to decrease aggro.

As for the gems, you’d want to focus on increasing damage and accuracy. Gems that reduce aggro are an excellent option as well. Some good examples include Steelcleaver and Accurate Grace.
