The world of Xenoblade Chronicles is undoubtedly huge. In fact, it’s so huge that you need to use various means of traveling to get from one place to another. One such means comes in the form of zip line cables. Basically, zip line cables let you cross from one place to the other side.

However, you won’t be able to use them immediately. In fact, you need to unlock a skill first to do so. Let’s find out what it is so you can start using zip line cables right away.

How to Use Zip Line Cables in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

In order to use the zip line cables in various parts of the map, you will need the Rope Sliding skill. It’s one of the few traversal skills that you can get in the game. To unlock this, you will need to complete the hero quest Natural Selection in Chapter 4 of the game.

Upon completing the quest, you will automatically unlock the skill. With the skill now a part of your kit, all you need to do is get close to a zip line cable and then simply jump on top of it. This will then initiate a sliding animation that will take you to the other end of the cable.
