Stray: How to Get Electric Cable for Grandma

As you venture out into the world of Stray, you’ll eventually come across NPCs who will help you along the journey. Some of them will be there just to greet you along the way while others will hand out some quests that you need to complete. One such NPC is Grandma who you can find in the Slums.

Upon meeting her, she will ask you to bring her an Electric Cable which she’ll use to knit a poncho. But as she mentioned, looking for the material won’t be easy around those parts. In fact, you won’t find the quest item lying around on the ground either.

In this guide, I’ll show you how you can get an Electric Cable which you can then bring to Grandma.

How to Get Electric Cable for Grandma in Stray

The only means to get the Electric Cable is to purchase it from Barter Man Azoos who you can find in the Slums. You can easily find him near the Guardian, and he will sell a lot of items for you, including the Electric Cable.

However, in order to actually buy the item, you will need a Super Spirit Detergent. To get a Super Spirit Detergent, you’ll want to head over to the Spirit Laundromat. On your first visit, you’ll notice that its door is still closed.

To enter, you need to climb up the roof and then meow at the robot to prompt it to drop a paint can in front of the door. This will alert the owner to go outside and clean up the mess.

Once he does, you will then be able to enter the laundromat to get the Super Spirit Detergent. Simply go back to Azoos to hand over the detergent for the electric cable. Afterward, bring the cable to Grandma, and she will then knit a poncho for you.
