Best Upcoming Anime Games in 2023

The Japanese RPG and gacha game culture is a favorite among the entire otaku community because it encourages interpersonal relationships. Imagine getting the news that your favorite anime television series, including Jojo, One Punchman, and BNHA, will be the subject of video games. The gaming industry is becoming accepting of Japanese “otaku culture”, which is a positive thing in my opinion because the bulk of Japanese anime and video games have excellent narratives and fascinating character arcs. Eternights

Because in Eternights, you’ll have to attempt to survive both the end of the world and the many dates you’ll experience while doing so.

What possibly could go wrong? A lot, the world is ending, but I digress. As you get to know a group of five prospective lovers, you’ll get to follow the journey of your main character, and the plot with them will alter depending on how you interact with them—even teaching you new skills in the process!

Palworld

Why are we playing this game? My response to that question is that Palworldis a game in which you can choose to engage in life-or-death combat with poachers or live a slow existence with enigmatic creatures called “Pals.”

You can force your pals to engage in combat, procreate, work in factories, or assist in farming.
Additionally, you may kill them and sell them to make money. But it’s against the law to do that.

Hunger, extreme weather, illegal poachers, and other dangers abound in our world. You must be prepared for anything if you want to survive. Even eating some Pals might be necessary sometimes.  (But you don’t wanna do that right? Right?)

You can go to numerous locations with Riding Pals by land, sea, or even air. And wouldn’t it be nice to just fly somewhere with your friend and take in the sights from above?

You’ll face some really challenging boss battles in the game (Yes you know it, it’s like Dark Souls but has anime mods instead lol), so remember what you’ve learned from each one and get ready to dodge roll your way to victory! Or, you can choose not to, in which case you’ll perish and have to deal with them once more.

Burn my dread! Yes, it’s one of my favorite songs in the game, and Persona 3 Portable is especially dear to my heart because I played it in high school. In addition, the story’s central theme greatly inspires me.

Experience Persona 3 Portable, the renowned and highly praised RPG that revitalized the Persona series, now that it has been freshly rebuilt for contemporary platforms.

Shortly after enrolling at Gekkoukan High School, the main character experiences the “Dark Hour,” during which an unfamiliar quiet engulfs the city, individuals transform into eerie coffins, and shadowy creatures known as Shadows swarm.

The strength of the heart, or their Persona, awakens when they are attacked by one of these Shadows and all hope appears gone.

It’s one of the games that I genuinely expected to be released in the early 2020s, but unhappily it appears that they have delayed the development for a few more years. Nevertheless, the developers have made it clear that they are working hard to make Granblue Fantasy Relink the best it can be.

If you’re a big fan of Granblue Fantasy from their anime, gacha games, and they even released a fighting game with the title Granblue Fantasy Versus, I saw the gameplay and it was awesome kind of reminds me also of P4A Ultimax Arena, If you’re a fan of this franchise you should give this game a try because it’s now an open world game and you get to explore the Granblue universe for however long you want!

Speaking of which, Granblue Fantasy: Relink offers a broad variety of characters for you to include in your party. As you travel across various lands and empires, you’ll endeavor to protect it from great threats. And along the road, figure out some significant riddles.

However, they won’t have to go it alone since, as the title suggests, they’ll get to be one of the 100 Heroes you may choose from to fight alongside you in this massive role-playing game. One that you can be sure people will play just because it was a successful Kickstarter project!

As a result, the backers and you both have a strong desire to observe how the game develops.

Please know that while Persona 5 is the new “gold standard” for the franchise, we would have likely ranked it higher if it had released on other platforms in 2023. Don’t get us wrong, though; Persona 4 Golden was what, prior to Persona 5, really made the franchise great. If you’ve never enjoyed Persona outside of that game, you’ll need to pick up Persona 4 Golden.

In a small town plagued by random deaths, it centers on a group of friends. In order to try and halt certain things, these pals will discover tremendous powers, while also developing tighter bonds thanks to a gorgeously drawn “coming of age story.”

You’ll still get to battle a lot, so don’t worry, but the personalities here are what you’ll care about most.
