Temple of Sylaveth Record Location in Throne & Liberty

Delve into this open world dungeon to find this codex entry requirement!

Throne & Liberty has all sorts of optional exploration quests to complete for some minuscule, but still pretty worthwhile rewards. Even open-world dungeons such as the Temple of Sylaveth have these, and in this guide, we will be showing you how to find the “Expedition Records: Temple of Sylaveth” note that is hidden deep within the dungeon.

Temple of Sylaveth Record Location

First of all, if you are unsure of where this place is, the Temple of Sylaveth can be found just to the northwest of Stoneguard Castle. The main storyline will bring you to the waypoint for it eventually, so you probably already have a way to teleport there.

Before we begin, it should be emphasized once more that the Temple of Sylaveth is an open world dungeon. This means that it will turn into a conflict zone at night time, and I can tell you right now that diving in there alone at these moments will probably get you killed quickly.

If it is currently in a conflict phase, wait until day time to do this codex entry so that you won’t be disturbed by hostile players. A lot of them will try to chase you straight from the entrance!

Now, to find the record itself, you will just need to go to the rightmost corner of the very first room of the dungeon. You will aggro enemies along the way, so be ready to fight.

There, you will find a large stone fountain, which should have a glowing mysterious note on the ground. I already got it before writing this, so it isn’t glowing in my example below. This seems to be the only page for this collection, so you have no other alternatives.

The Other Objectives – Second Floor

Although that is everything you need to know in order to find the Expedition Records, you might be curious as to how to complete the other two objectives. This will require you to go all the way down to the second floor of the dungeon.

We have a more detailed guide on how to complete Evidence of Corruption Exploration Codex, but here is a summary. At the large open areas with a lot of Shade Assassins, Shade Monks, and Shade Wizards, just run around and you will find Jars of the Dead scattered throughout. A single normal attack will destroy these.

As for the Dark Specters, you can spawn them by searching for pillars with dark blue energy over and around them. When you find one of these, you will need to kill normal mobs nearby to charge up the pillar. I highly recommend pulling a lot of mobs and using area of effect attacks for this.

Once a pillar is fully charged, it will disappear. In its place, a Dark Specter will spawn. If somebody else has spawned one but refused to kill it, you will be able to see them in your minimap as a red monster icon.

That is pretty much all of the information you need in order to complete the objective for this codex entry, and more. If you are missing the ones at the Syleus’ Abyss dungeon, check out our guide on how to complete the Traces of the Missing Exploration Codex entry for more information!

Franco is a writer and avid gamer who spends a lot of his free time looking for the next obscure indie roguelike to add to his collection. If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
