The King Stag Beetle is one of the many gigantic insect bosses you can challenge in Smalland: Survive the Wilds. These powerful bosses are very tough to take down.

Of course, it’s not a pointless challenge, as killing them will reward you with unique crafting materials. Facing them is well worth it if you wish to craft the best items in the game!

So if you’re eager for a challenge, this guide will show you where you can find this particular boss.

You can find this specific boss on the southernmost region of the map, which is directly south of the region where you start the game.

Make sure to prepare well before you head out. Secure good equipment and healing items. After all, the King Stag Beetle is no pushover!

Also, get gear and items to help you deal with the weather conditions. Since the region you’re going to has frequent snow, make sure you’re well-protected from the cold!

Once you’re ready, cross the river and reach the southern region, then continue heading southeast. The King Stag Beetle’s lair is somewhere close to the center, as shown on the map above.

As you approach the marked spot, you should start noticing large roots and stone structures. Follow these roots to their source and you will find a gigantic tree with an opening.

Once you’re ready, enter the tree and walk straight ahead until you end up in a large circular room where the King Stag Beetle rests.

Whether you choose to fight the boss right now or save it for later is up to you. Don’t be foolish and fight it unprepared – that’s all we can say.
