How to Restore the Environment in Terra Nil
At the start of the game, you will be welcomed by this vast wasteland. And you’re right about what you are thinking – this is where you are going to play the game.
Your main goal here is to think of all the possible solutions that you can do to recover the land using the given resources.
But of course, doing this all at once would be too much work for you. That being said, you will be recovering the environment one step at a time. Here’s how:
Recover Water and Land
In your journey of bringing back a healthy ecosystem, you must start with recovering the water and the greens.
In order to do this, you have to use a Toxin Scrubber to cleanse both the land and the water. This device has a wide coverage, which means that you can place them far from each other.
However, make sure that there is no gap between them.
Recover the Flora
After slowly bringing back clean water and soil, what you should do next is to allow the greens to grow again. You will need an Irrigator for this one.
Most of the buildings that you will be able to use here have fixed positions. However, in the case of the irrigator, you can use R to rotate it.
As you can see from the picture, an irrigator can cover a wide range from two sides. This means that you have to strategically place and arrange them to have an efficient rate of growth.
Alter the Terrain
Aside from the growth, the format of the terrain also depends on you. In fact, you can use different pieces of equipment to modify the land.
In this case, you can use an Excavator to dig the soil in a straight line.
Increase Plant Life Diversity
Using the Solar Amplifier, clear the current greens growing on the land compound and change them into a new and more appropriate one according to the biome and habitat that you want to develop.
Discover Fauna
Once a habitat is developed and fully restored, you can now introduce the wildlife. Use the Animal Observatory to scan animals and their requirements to thrive.
Through this, you can easily identify which biome is perfect for them.
Recycle Buildings
Once you have already established both flora and fauna, the last thing that you have to do is to recycle your buildings and construct an Airship.
