Slime Rancher 2: All Gordo Locations on Ember Valley

Slime Rancher 2 is having its Early Access right now and it is only available in Steam on the PC. It is similar to its prequel, but with a new island to explore and new slimes added. Gordos are also back, and we are going to show you all of their locations in Ember Valley.

All Gordo Locations on Ember Valley  in Slime Rancher 2

In Slime Rancher 2, there are Gordo Slimes. These slimes are a rare phenomenon, where similar multiple slimes congregate into one. They are stationary and can be fed until they become huge and explode. After exploding, the slimes that make a Gordo disperse and reveal whatever they are hiding from where they stood.

The Ember Valley is a place in Slime Rancher 2 that has Gordo Slimes.

There are 5 Gordo Slimes in the Ember Valley.

Rock Gordo

You need a Jetpack to reach the place where the Rock Gordo is located. From the entrance of the Ember Valley, keep walking west until you find multiple rock formations. Start climbing and look for a cave.  Enter and you are going to find a room with some statues. Throw 3 Bloom plorts into the statues to open up the next room.

Use the large spout of water to hop onto a large pillar inside the room. Use your Jetpack to fly up and reach the Rock Gordo. The Rock Gordo only eats veggies and its favorite food is the Heart Beet. Give it 50 veggies or 25 Heart Beet to make it explode. It will also lead you to a treasure pod after the explosion.

Crystal Gordo

The Crystal Gordo is located in the area indicated by the yellow circle above. From the Central area of Ember Valley, use the geyser to shoot up, then head north. You are going to reach 2 pathways; pick the left one and go straight. Use your Jetpack to reach the other side of the cliff. Go straight to see the Crystal Gordo.

The Crystal Gordo only eats veggies and its favorite food is an Odd Onion. It can eat 50 veggies or 25 odd onions before it explodes and open a shortcut.

Tabby Gordo

North of Crystal Gordo’s location is a small island where the Tabby Gordo resides. From the Crystal Gordo, head straight and climb the platforms until you reach the top. Follow the path down and look for a geyser on your right. Use the geyser to launch you to the hole above it, you will also need to use your Jetpack to reach it.

Follow the path until you reach Tabby Gordo. The Tabby Gordo only eats meat and its favorite is the Stony Hen. You can feed it 50 meat or 25 Stone Hean for it to explode and open a portal that leads to the Rainbow Fields.

Batty Gordo

The Batty Gordo is inside the cave southwest of Ember Valley. From the central area of the valley, head southwest and follow the path until you reach a cave. Follow the path in the cave; once you reach an area with lava, you must stay to the right. Use your Jetpack to go up, and head right. Head down and then proceed left. Cross a lava lake where you are going to find the Batty Gordo inside a small cave.

The Batty Gordo only eats fruit and its favorite is the Pomegranite. You can feed it 50 fruit or 25 Pomegranite for it to explode and open a shortcut.

Boom Gordo

The Boom Gordo is located in the western part of Ember Valley. You must reach a place that is full of lava. From the red circle indicated in the picture above, head straight to the west until you cross a lava lake and find the Boom Gordo on a big platform.

The Boom Gordo only eats meat and its favorite is the Briar Hen. You can feed it 50 meat or 25 Briar Hen until it explodes and open a cave with 2 treasure pods inside.
