The Elderflower is one of the new types of materials you can find in the new Elderwood region in Palia.

These flowers can always be found around some of the largest trees in the region. The trick, however, is that they are surprisingly rare and can be hard to spot due to how high up they grow…

In this guide, we’ll tell you everything we can to help you find these rare Elderflowers.

Where to Find Elderflower | Palia: Elderwood

First off, let’s get the bad news out of the way. There’s no set spawn location for Elderflowers in the game, at least currently. On top of that, these Elderflowers are extremely rare to find, as they seem to have a pretty low spawn chance to begin with. In short: they’re pretty annoying to find.

With that said, you can find Elderflowers on the trunks of the massive trees in the Deep Woods area of the Elderwood region. It’s the southcentral part of the region, as shown above.

The best way to get the Elderflowers is honestly to just run around the area while looking up at the tree trunks. You can spot them protruding from the trees from the ground level, then just climb up to reach them when you do spot them.

Alternatively, you can use a Dowsing Rod to help you. It’ll make rare resources, like Elderflowers, appear on your compass. You can make it a Worktable with the following items:

  • Dowsing Rod Recipe – Purchase from the Foraging Guild for 50 Foraging Medals. Unlocks at Foraging Level 10.
  • Coral x3 – Forage at the Coral Shores and Beachcomber Cove in Bahari Bay.
  • Ceramic x10 – Make it yourself using Clay at a Smelter or purchase it from the Kilima Village Blacksmith for 20 Gold.
  • Flint x2 – Obtained by mining stones in Kilima Valley and Bahari Bay.

The downside to the Dowsing Rod is that it seems to be a bit buggy right now. It doesn’t always pick up the new rare resources, Elderflowers included. That makes it unreliable currently, but we hope this gets fixed soon!

So, there you have it. That’s all there is to know about where to find Elderflower in Palia after the Elderwood update. For something more reliable, check out our guide on how to get Rockhopper Pumpkins.
