Lies Of P: Overture – All Weapon & Legion Arm Locations | True Combat Gear Collector Trophy

Collect every new weapon and Legion Arm in Lies of P: Overture and you’ll get the “True Combat Gear Collector” trophy. There are 10 new weapons in this DLC, as well as 2 new Legion Arms. Besides the trophy you get from collecting them, you’ll also get a lot of new options in combat, so there’s no reason to not get them all! Read on and we’ll tell you where to get all of these armaments.

Royal Horn Bow (Unique)

As we covered in its dedicated article, you can find the Royal Horn Bow by starting at the Hall of Adventure Stargazer. It’s one of the first you find as soon as you enter the DLC, so it’s very early on.

As soon as you teleport, go up the stairs and then take the path to your right.

You should see an enemy at the end of the balcony. Either defeat it or ignore it, then go through the exit to the left at the very end of the balcony.

In the next room, turn to your left and then take the only exit on the right. Just like before, deal with the enemies however you see fit!

Go all the way down the dimly-lit hallway, though we’ll have the courtesy to warn you of a little jumpscare in the middle of the hallway.

The hallway will take you to a balcony with a ladder. Take the ladder down, then go up the large stairs in the room and take a right once again.

Once you’re up the stairs, go through the only exit on your left. Be careful of the enemies as you enter the room, though, they like to get cheap shots as you’re walking in!

Defeat or ignore the enemies here, as always. Either way, turn to your right and then take the next exit to the right. It will take you to a balcony back in the large room with the ladder you came from.

As soon as you’re on the balcony, you should notice a chest with a white glow. Open that chest up and loot its contents!

Lorenzini Bolt Blade and Handle

For this one, start from the Jungle Zone Walkway Stargazer in Overture Chapter 1. Progress through the level as normal until you reach a tree with lots of birdhouses on it and a broken bridge. Drop down to the right of the broken bridge.

As soon as you drop down, turn to your left and you should see a small cave blocked by some icicles. Lots of enemies there, too, so be careful!

Deal with the enemies and break the icicles to get access to the cave. Loot the items within the chest to get the Lorenzini Bolt weapon. As a generic weapon, you’ll get both its blade and handle for customization!

Death’s Talons (Unique)

Next up in our list of all weapon and Legion Arm locations in Lies of P: Overture is the first boss weapon required for the “True Combat Gear Collector” trophy. For this one, just progress through the story as normal until you defeat Markiona, Puppeteer of Death. She can’t be missed, being a main story boss for Overture Chapter 1.

Once you’ve defeated Markiona, return to the Eventide Hotel Krat and talk to Klaus. Choose to trade rare Ergo with him.

The Death’s Talons will be near the bottom of the list, purchasable for 1 Macabre Puppeteer’s Ergo.

Maniac’s Pinwheel Blade and Handle

This one is tied to the Carnival Coins activity, which we have a full guide for. To get this one, first obtain a Carnival Coin. The easiest one to grab would be the one on the blue-and-white corpse to your left as you enter the carnival itself.

Alternatively, you can get another early one by just defeating the Puppet Master miniboss. It’s right in front of you as you enter the carnival, so it’s hard to miss!

Once you have obtained at least 1 Carnival Coin, stand where the Puppet Master is (or was!). Look around until you see the Clown’s Circus sign shown above. It’s visible from the small arena where you fought the miniboss. Walk towards it.

You’ll see a lit-up stall with a puppet right under the Clown’s Circus sign. Interact with it and spend a Carnival Coin to open the door to the Clown’s Circus. Head inside to participate in a small minigame.

Inside the Clown’s Circus, go up the wooden stairs to your left and step on the lit-up plate in the middle of the circular stage.

As soon as you step on the plate, a bunch of clown dolls will start appearing from the ground. You have to smack them with your weapon while making sure to avoid the red glowing bomb dolls.

Hit enough of the dolls and you’ll get a short scene showing a nearby clown doll exploding. It will leave behind an item drop, which you can pick up to collect the Maniac’s Pinwheel weapon as a reward. It’s a common weapon, so it’s both a Handle and Blade for customization, as well!

Puppet of the Future’s Welder Blade and Handle

You can get this one during Overture Chapter 2, as early as your first visit to the Zelator Underground Facility. Starting from the Zelator Underground Facility Stargazer, turn around and go into the tunnel by the Stargazer.

In the tunnel, take the first left you can to exit into a bigger room.

Continue straight ahead and down the first slope, then take the left once again.

At the end of the hallway, go right and follow the path until you enter a pipe tunnel.

Inside this tunnel, go right first and follow the path until reach a big vertical pipe.

Go past the pipe and climb the slope made out of rubble to exit the tunnel. Then keep going straight ahead and follow the stairs all the way down.

After taking the stairs, turn to your right and go down the hallway there.

Then, at the end of the hallway, take the left corner.

Once you exit into the room with the big blood stain on the ground, turn right to see a pipe with a ladder going down. Take the ladder.

As soon as you’re down, turn around and go into the tunnel in front of the ladder. Follow the linear path there until you go up a metal slope into a prison area.

Breaking into the Prison

Once in the prison area, turn around and go into the open cell on your left.

You should see a ladder in the middle of the adjacent cell, close to the big hole in the wall. Take the ladder up.

Once you’re up, leave the cell. Navigate the walkway to reach the open cell on the corner far to the left from where you are. It’s the one shown in the screenshot above.

You’ll see a big square hole inside that cell, drop down into it.

After dropping into the hole, exit the cell through the open door and climb the ladder that will be directly in front of you.

Then, enter the first cell to your left once you’re up the ladder.

This cell has another big square hole, so drop down into it just as you did before. Make sure to heal up, though, if you need it!

As soon as you drop down the hole, a miniboss will burst through the wall. It’s a Carcass-type enemy, so burning it down is a good idea.

Once you’ve dealt with the enemy, go into the cell where it came from. You’ll see a red chest there, open it up to finally claim the Puppet of the Future’s Welder weapon, including its blade and handle parts.

La Vendetta Head and Handle

You can get this next weapon in the Zelator Underground Facility as well, but only after you defeat Veronique. If you’ve done that, return to the Zelator Underground Facility Stargazer and drop down to the lower area.

Then, enter the first pipe tunnel directly to your right after dropping down. Follow the linear path it leads you to until you drop down into another room.

Once there, take the stairs going up and follow them until you’re in a room full of jars and pots.

In that room, take the path on the left.

Then, as soon as you can, take another left again.

Go down the stairs to reach a room with a big hulking Carcass-type miniboss.

Kill the miniboss as you see fit and then enter the workshop behind where the boss was.

You’ll find the La Vendetta weapon inside the chest in the middle of the workshop, so just loot it and claim your reward!

Arche’s Guardian Blade and Handle

Next up in our list of all the weapon and Legion Arm locations for the “True Combat Gear Collector” trophy in Lies of P: Overture! This one requires you to progress through the Ergo Mining Site in Overture Chapter 3. At one point, you’ll need to use a moving platform to progress through the level. When you do, take the path to the left.

Cross the short wooden bridge the path takes you to, but don’t leave the cave yet.

Instead, turn to your left to find a slope going down, which leads to a red chest. Watch out for the enemies there, then open that chest to claim the Arche’s Guardian weapon within.

Pale Knight (Unique)

This is yet another boss weapon that you can buy from Klaus using rare Ergo. For this one, first defeat the Anguished Guardian of the Ruins boss. It’s an unmissable main boss, so you’ll defeat them as you play through Overture Chapter 3.

Once you’ve defeated the Anguished Guardian of the Ruins, return to the Eventide Hotel Krat and talk to Klaus. Choose to trade rare Ergo with him. The Pale Knight will be near the bottom of the list, purchasable for 1 Tortured Guardian’s Ergo.

Silent Evangelists’ Mace Head and Handle

You can find this weapon in Overture Chapter 4. Starting from the Shipwreck Interior Stargazer, follow the main path until you reach a large shipwreck pointing towards the lighthouse.

Once you enter that shipwreck, go up the wooden slope and all the way to the furthest room in the ship.

You’ll find a ladder there, which you can climb to get on top of the ship’s deck.

On the ship’s deck, just walk towards the ship’s bow and you should see a red chest there. Open the chest and you’ll be able to loot the Silent Evangelists’ Mace weapon from within, including its head and handle parts.

Monad’s Rose Sword (Unique)

This is the final weapon you can get in the Overture DLC, and it’s unmissable. You’ll get it as a reward for defeating the final boss of the DLC, it’s as simple as that!

Legion Arm Types | Lies of P: Overture – Weapon and Genius’s Legion Plugs Locations

Aside from all of the weapon locations mentioned before, there are two new Legion Arm types you need for the “True Combat Gear Collector” trophy in Lies of P: Overture. Both of them can be made at the Venigni Craft Machine by using Genius’s Legion Plugs. There are two of those plugs, allowing you to get both Legion Arms in a single run!

The first Genius’s Legion Plug is obtained by defeating the infected elephant along the main path in Overture Chapter 1. Just start from the Jungle Zone Walkway Stargazer and proceed through the level as normal to encounter it. That said, you likely already killed it if you’re reading this!

The second Genius’s Legion Plug is in Overture Chapter 3. Start from the Ergo Mining Site Stargazer and follow the path on the left until you reach a waterfall.

A strong miniboss puppet will emerge from the waterfall, so be ready to take it out!

Once you defeat the puppet, interact with the safe next to the waterfall to bust it open. Loot the items within to collect the Genius’s Legion Plug. Now all that’s left is to use the Venigni Craft Machine at the Eventide Hotel Krat to make both Legion Arms and you’re all done here!
