You’ll visit a carnival as part of the Lies of P: Overture DLC, and it has 4 hidden Carnival Coin locations you can visit to get rewards. The rewards vary a bit, ranging from funny gestures to some powerful new equipment. Nonetheless, they’re all worth picking up! Read on, we’ll tell you where to find all of them.

All Carnival Coin Locations and Rewards | Lies of P: Overture

Carnival Coin #1

For the very first Carnival Coin, go to the Carnival Garden Stargazer. From there, enter the carnival grounds by going through the main gate.

As soon as you are inside the carnival, turn to your left and you should see a pillar-like structure. Interact with the dead white-and-blue puppet in front of that structure to collect the first coin. That’s 1 out of 4 and it took no time at all!

Reward #1 – “Tap Dance” Gesture

Right after collecting the first Carnival Coin, go past the same pillar structure and enter the open yellow house nearby.

Approach the puppet theater wagon in the corner of the house. It will be directly opposite of the entrance. Insert the first Carnival Coin into the wagon to start the show. Watch the full show and you’ll automatically receive the “Tap Dance” Gesture as a reward.

Carnival Coin #2

Next up, go back to the Carnival Garden Stargazer for reference. Enter the carnival itself and just walk straight ahead until you encounter a Parade Master miniboss.

Manage to defeat this miniboss and you’ll automatically receive your second Carnival Coin as a reward. We hope it doesn’t give you too much trouble, it’s fairly similar to the Parade Master boss at the start of the game. The tiny arena doesn’t help, though!

Reward #2 – “Maniac’s Pinwheel” Weapon

After you defeat the Parade Master and get your second Carnival Coin, look around until you see the Clown’s Circus sign shown above. It’s visible from the small arena where you fought the miniboss. Walk towards it.

You’ll see a lit-up stall with a puppet right under the Clown’s Circus sign. Interact with it and spend a Carnival Coin to open the door to the Clown’s Circus. Head inside to participate in a small minigame.

Inside the Clown’s Circus, go up the wooden stairs to your left and step on the lit-up plate in the middle of the circular stage.

As soon as you step on the plate, a bunch of clown dolls will start appearing from the ground. You have to smack them with your weapon while making sure to avoid the red glowing bomb dolls.

Hit enough of the dolls and you’ll get a short scene showing a nearby clown doll exploding. It will leave behind an item drop, which you can pick up to collect the Maniac’s Pinwheel weapon as a reward. It’s a common weapon, so it’s both a Handle and Blade for customization, as well!

Carnival Coin #3

Next up, the third Carnival Coin and its rewards in Lies of P: Overture! For this one, return to where you fought the Parade Master miniboss earlier and walk towards the Ferris wheel.

Once you’re getting closer to the Ferris wheel, turn to your left and look for the carousel. Walk towards it next.

Go past the carousel itself and check the side of the carousel opposite of the entrance.

You’ll find a dead couple of humans there with an item glow, as well as a couple of enemies. Deal with the enemies and then interact with the dead couple to get the third Carnival Coin. A tad more grim than the previous coins, but it is what it is…

Reward #3 – Workshop Union Auto-Adaptive Converter

For the third reward, go back to the Ferris wheel and look at it. While facing it, turn to your right to see another Clown’s Circus building. Just like before, approach the stall in the front and pay with 1 Carnival Coin to get to enter the building itself.

Go as far into this Clown’s Circus as you can to find a gigantic clown face. Some fireworks will light up and an enemy will emerge through the clown’s mouth! Take out this enemy as soon as possible. It’s a puppet, so Electro Blitz attacks work quite well.

Once the puppet’s down, go inside the big clown face’s mouth to find a safe. Interact with it to bust it open and claim the Workshop Union Auto-Adaptive Converter as a reward. It will be an upgraded version if you’re in NG+. This Converter’s heavy, but it has pretty solid resistance against everything. Plus, the miniboss should’ve also dropped an Ergo Crystal of the Eternal. So, that’s a 2-for-1 deal!

Carnival Coin #4

At long last, the final coin on this list of Carnival Coins locations and rewards in Lies of P: Overture. For this one, return all the way back to the Carnival Garden Stargazer. Enter the carnival itself and go behind the Clown Knock-Down tent.

Behind the tent, take the slope to your left.

Once you’re down the slow, turn to your left once again and go under the bridge. You’ve heard of water under the bridge, but who’s heard of puppets under the bridge?

After going under the bridge, you should spot a dead person with a suitcase. Interact with the suitcase to collect the fourth and final Carnival Coin!

Reward #4 – Full Moonstone of the Covenant, “Cheer” Gesture, Strategist’s Amulet

Return once again to the carousel from before, the one where you picked up the third Carnival Coin. This time, though, take a left as soon as you get close to the carousel.

You should see some wooden planks and a wooden elevator there. Drop down from them to the area below, near where a merchant is.

Ignore the merchant for now. Just continue straight ahead to the large white-and-red tent.

As soon as you enter the tent, you should see a clown puppet to your right telling you to get on stage. Approach it and interact with it to use your final Carnival Coin.

It will activate the puppet, revealing a compartment with a Full Moonstone of the Covenant as your reward! Additionally, you can use the Tap Dance gesture from before to also get the Cheer gesture and the Strategist’s Amulet. That’s a lot of rewards for a single place, but we aren’t complaining!

So, there you have it, that’s the locations for all 4 Carnival Coins in Lies of P: Overture and their rewards. While you’re exploring the carnival grounds, it might be a good idea to also find Rosaura’s shoes. They are required for her quest, and they’re not too hard to find!
