While exploring the realm of Vanaheim, you will eventually come across several exciting stuff. One of them is a gold legendary chest that contains a nice loot inside. However, you’ll need to do a bit of exploring and puzzle-solving first to get to its location.
Let’s find out how in this guide.
Noatun’s Garden Gold Chest Location in God of War Ragnarok
You can spot this legendary chest inside a ruined building, but you won’t be able to get there immediately. Instead, you need to explore other areas first to collect clues on how to get there.
If you have obtained the Under the Rainbow treasure map, then we’re going to use that spot as the starting point. It’s actually just outside the ruins containing the chest. But if you haven’t yet, then you might want to check out our Under the Rainbow treasure map guide for that.
Now, starting from the treasure map location, turn left and then look through the window. You’ll then notice a huge counterweight that’s keeping the door shut. Your objective is to lower the counterweight to open the door.
To do this, you’ll want to have Freya shoot arrows around the vines and another one just right at the wall outside close to the vines. Then, use your Blades of Chaos and throw it at the purple rune created by Freya’s arrow. This will trigger a chain of explosions that will burn down the vines.
After that, go back to the window and throw your axe at the circle spot on the chain. This will cause it to break, thus lowering the counterweight and opening the door.
Head inside and clear the room of enemies before attempting to open the legendary chest.
What the Chest Contains
Once you have cleared the room of enemies, open the chest to obtain its loot. You’ll receive the Jewel of Yggdrasil which is a fragment of the amulet. You can use it to allow the amulet to hold even more enchantments.
