The New Game+ update for God of War Ragnarok didn’t just add the new game mode. It also added new content that can only be obtained on the second playthrough of the game.

One such content is the powerful Zeus Armor which made a comeback from the 2018 God of War game! It also has similar effects of greatly boosting your damage while lowering your defenses.

But how can you obtain this armor? Let’s go and find out.

Sadly, obtaining this armor set is very much one of the last things you can do in the game.

Not only do you need to play in the New Game+ mode, which requires you to have beaten the game once, but you also need to beat the game’s main story.

It’s a truly powerful armor set if you’re aiming for a glass cannon build. However, it’s a bit disappointing that it can only be obtained so late into the game.

Nonetheless, let’s go over where to find all 3 pieces of this armor set.

The chest piece is the Cuirass of Zeus which you can obtain by defeating the Valkyrie Queen Gná in The Crucible of Muspelheim.

It has the Divine Edge effect which increases Kratos’ Melee and Runic damage by 40%. However, it also increases damage received by 100%.

Next are the Gauntlets of Zeus which you can get by defeating Stinnr and Sterkr. They are remnants of Asgard found in The Barrens of Alfheim. Take both of them down and loot the nearby chest to get the gauntlets.

The gauntlets also have the Divine Edge effect but with weaker potency than the Cuirass. It increases Kratos’ Melee and Runic damage by 20% and only increases damage received by 40%.

The last armor piece is the War Belt of Zeus which you can loot from a chest in the Eastern Barri Woods of Vanaheim. No bosses or noteworthy enemies are guarding it!

It has the same Divine Edge effect as the gauntlets, with no difference.

Note that the Divine Edge effect also stacks with each piece of armor. That means that you can increase Kratos’ Melee and Runic damage by 80% while increasing damage taken by 180%.

Wearing the full set will turn you into a pure glass cannon build: you will deal massive damage, but you will most likely get one shotted.

Either way, that’s how you can get your hands on this powerful armor!
