ArgieGod of War Ragnarok is a pretty long game. However, you can make it even longer by unlocking all of the game’s achievements/trophies.
As far as we know, there are a total of 36 unlockable trophies in the game. While some are fairly easy to obtain as part of the main story, a few others will prove to be quite a challenge.
In this ultimate trophy guide, we’ll show you how you can unlock all of the game’s trophies as quickly as possible.
Ultimate Trophy Guide in God of War Ragnarok
According to estimates, it will take you roughly 50-60 hours to platinum the game. Fortunately, you can unlock all of them in a single playthrough.
Here’s a breakdown of all the unlockable trophies based on their category:
- 16 Bronze
- 15 Silver
- 4 Gold
- 1 Platinum
As you might have guessed, the platinum trophy called The Bear and the Wolf is unlocked after you manage to unlock all of the other trophies.
While this is indeed quite a challenge, you can make it a lot easier by playing the game on the easiest difficulty.
Since God of War Ragnarok allows you to explore all areas in the game even after completing the main story, there’s no way you will miss any trophy.
With that out of the way, let’s look at the trophies in the game and how you can unlock them.

As you can see, there are tons of trophies that are waiting for you to unlock in the game. Due to that, it will take a lot of time if we’re to talk about how to unlock each of them in this article.
Instead, we’ll be going through a general guide that will help you unlock as many trophies as you possibly can at any given stage.
Finish the Main Story
Before you even attempt to unlock all of the trophies in the game, we highly recommend focusing on your playthrough first. The main story will take you around 20 hours on average to complete. You can choose to do it on any difficulty you see fit.
As mentioned earlier, nothing is missable since you can just go back to previous areas even after completing the main storyline.
Those locations that become unavailable won’t have any collectibles tied to trophies in them, so you shouldn’t worry too much about those areas.
In the event that you failed to pick up items that were dropped by enemies you slain, there’s no need to worry either. The game will automatically place those items in a chest near the blacksmith for you to pick up later on.
One thing to note, however, is that you won’t be able to obtain all collectibles in a given area during your first visit. After all, some of them will require certain skills that you can only get in the latter parts of the story.
As much as possible, grab any collectible that you can find along the way. Then, you can just go back to previous areas once you have reached the endgame.
Make Use of a Collectible Guide
There are a total of 418 collectibles scattered throughout various locations in the game. It would be impossible to collect all of them without using a guide of some form.
We highly recommend PowerPyx’s collectible guide which lists all collectibles that you can find in each region. This will allow you to achieve 100% game completion.
Even though the trophies won’t directly tell you to obtain certain collectibles, these collectibles will be necessary to progress certain events which are tied to trophies. In other words, you will need everything.
