Assassin’s Creed Shadows has a lot of side content and quests that you can complete, and among these is a task called “A Collection of Crests”. In this guide, we will be going through all of the locations of the Kamon crests so that you can complete it as quickly as possible. Just know that you have to play as Yasuke for this one, as it is something that only he can complete.

All Clan Crests Location Guide | Kamon Crests

There are a total of nine clan crests to find all around the map, and they are pretty scattered, so you will need to travel far and wide to various regions in order to complete this quest. We will show you the exact spots on the map that you will need to go to, for your convenience.

Clan Crests #1 to #4

  • Clan Crest #1. Oda Clan – First, you will find a crest at the Fukushima Ruins within Osaka, which is in the Izumi Settsu region. This is found in a chest in a tower at the ruins, which will be marked in your map as you approach it.
  • Clan Crest #2. Hashiba Clan – Next, head over to the Warfields within the Harima region. There, you will find the Hiraiyama Fort, which will contain another crest. It is found in a building at the northernmost corner of the fort, behind a window blocked by a stack of wood that you can push.
  • Clan Crest #3. Bessho Clan – Still in the Harima region, at the Miki area, you will find another crest near the western outskirts of Miki Castle. It is in a small hut where the map marker will lead you. Just push the stack of wood out of the way.
  • Clan Crest #4. Niwa Clan – This is found in the Tsuruga Castle within the Wakasa region. Just go to the highlighted part of the map and, just like the previous crest, it can be found in a small hut. Again, just pull the stack of wood to the side to reach the chest.

Clan Crests #5 to #9

  • Clan Crest #5. Shibata Clan – Still in the Wakasa region, head over to Mount Uchinakao and you will find another clan crest hidden in Genbao Fort. Just enter the main building and you will find it in the upper floor, hidden behind a thinner stack of wood that you can slide to the side.
  • Clan Crest #6. Akechi Clan – Next, head to the Omi region and go to Sakamoto, specifically at the castle there. Follow the clan crest icon in the map and it will lead you into an upper area of the keep. The chest containing the clan crest will be hidden behind a thin stack of wood, just like the previous one.
  • Clan Crest #7. Tsutsui Clan – Head over to the Yamato region, where you will find Koriyama Castle. At the ground floor of the main building, you will find the chest containing the clan crest behind a large stack of wood. Just push it to the side and open the chest.
  • Clan Crest #8. Akiyama Clan – While you are still in the Yamato region, head over to the Uda Matsuyama Castle, where you will find another clan crest in the main building. It is found on the 3rd floor of the building, behind a small stack of wood.
  • Clan Crest #9. Ikko Ikki – Finally, within the Kii region, head over to Negoroji Kunren-ba. At the southwestern corner of this little sub area is a guard tower. You will find the clan crest hidden behind a stack of wood in the ground floor, just behind the ladder.

If you have yet to clear certain castles in the game, you can actually get some decent loot and new fast travel points from doing so. Here is a quick guide on how you can find all samurai daisho and the chest in Osaka Castle in Assassin’s Creed Shadows that can get you started with one of these!

Franco is a writer and avid gamer who spends a lot of his free time looking for the next obscure indie roguelike to add to his collection. If he’s not busy working or writing on his personal blog, there’s also a non-zero chance that you stumble into him in pretty much any multiplayer game that has SEA or OCE servers. He’s pretty good at anything unless it’s a fighting game, in which case you’d probably body him.
