Where to Find R-Velonasaur in ARK Fjordur

The R-Velonasaur is a strong creature, identified by its large cacti-like frills or fins that surround its head. They are most frequently seen in warm hues like red, orange, yellow, brown, black, and gray, but they can also be found in blues, greens, and turquoise.

They are one of the creatures in ARK: Survival Evolved’s Extinction expansion.

Locating R-Velonasaur

The R-Velonasaur can be found at coordinates Lat 73.9 – Lon 81.9 in the Balheimr region on the new Fjordur map.

This volcanic area is located at the bottom right of your map. R-Velonsaurs are territorial monsters that become aggressive once they spot you, so it’s best to prepare yourself when facing them.

They spawn at a common rate, meaning there is a huge possibility you can find one right away. When fighting, utilize rocks and trees nearby to take cover if the Velonasaur starts firing quills.
