Palworld: How to Unlock and Use a Smelter

The Smelter in Palworld is often an underrated tool. Players generally have issues making use of new technologies or simply, forget progressing through the tech tree.

The Smelter is one such technology that is so useful, that we cannot emphasize it enough. While it is easy to unlock, we felt the need to provide a guide on how to do this in just a few simple steps.

This is why in today’s article, we’ll go over the topic of how to unlock and how to use the smelter in Palworld. So without wasting any more of your time, let’s get started!

How to Unlock and Use a Smelter

To unlock this option in the first place, you need to open up your technology progression tree and work your way down to level 10. Once you’re there, you will need 20 Wood, 50 Stone, and 3 Flame Organs to construct it.

Next up, to use the Smelter effectively, you will need to find a fire pal and some flame organs. One of the easiest Pals to obtain for this is Foxparks. Simply capture one and you’re good to go.

Putting it to good use

Finally, head back to your base and construct a smelter you unlocked earlier. By now you should have enough resources to do this and shouldn’t face any issues.

Once constructed, you will need to assign the previously captured Foxparks to your base for it to start Kindling the smelter. This can be done via the Palbox Management Menu.

Now simply select what you want the smelter to craft/smelt and leave it to Foxparks to take care of it!
