With the upcoming release of Madden NFL 23, people are already talking about which team they are going to build. It is the same as NBA 2k, but the sport is football and has more complexity to it. We will show you how to build your team in Madden NFL 23.

How to Build Your Team in Madden NFL 23

Before building the ultimate team, you will need to know the following:

• Which version of the game do you have
• The rewards you can get from said version
• Knowing the free players available to you

Building the Ultimate Team

With that said, here is how you can build the ultimate team.

You can pick the following free players:

• Defense
  • Isaiah Simmons
  • Jabrill Peppers
  • Montez Sweat, with him as the best
• Offense
  • D’Andre Swift
  • Jaylen Waddle, with the best pick
  • Lamar Jackson

Preordering the Madden Edition will allow you to get one of 4 players. They are the only players that have special abilities when the game releases. They are as follow:

• Barry Sanders
• Kam Chancellor (a community favorite and is currently considered the best)
• Cooper Kupp
• Micah Parsons

In the rookie premiere fantasy pack, you can choose from either of the following players:

• Kaiir Elam
• Kayvon Thibodeaux
• Breece Hall
• Tyquan Thornton or Chris Olave

The Elite Headliners player pack that can be received when pre-ordering the All Madden Edition on August 18 will have the following players up for grabs:

• Mykal Walker
• Milton Williams
• Jon Runyan
• James Conner
• Elijah Moore
• Caleb Farley (best to pick out of all of them according to most players)

Headliners Field Pass will also have an 86 over Headliners Hero Fantasy pack which includes these players:

• Kwity Paye
• Gabriel Davis
• Donald Parham Jr. (best-pick as per players)
• Carson Wentz
• Divine Deablo

Team Captains are also free characters. They include:

• Keyshawn Johnson
• Larry Csonka
• Sam Adams
• Eric Allen

The Field Pass features players as rewards, but there is still no information about which players are included in the pass.
