The Brilliant Beetle bugs are one of the many mounts you can get in Minecraft Legends.
These large bugs have the ability to crawl over different surfaces, allowing them to climb walls and the like. They can also glide somewhat, using their wings to stay in the air.
In this guide, we’ll tell you where to find one of these useful mounts!
How to Unlock the Brilliant Beetle Bug Mount in Minecraft Legends
You can get this mount the same way you get most mounts in the game: find it and approach it.
These huge mountable bugs can be found almost exclusively within the Jungle biome type, so you will first need to find a jungle in your world.
Each player’s world is uniquely generated at the start of the game. This means we can’t tell you where to find a jungle. You will have to explore your game until you find one.
However, we can help narrow it down for you!
You can see the biomes in your world by checking your map, so make good use of your map as you explore the world and you should find a Jungle easily.
Additionally, mounts show up as question marks on your map and compass once you’re close enough. This doesn’t always indicate a mount, however, but it does help find them.
The Brilliant Beetles are very easy to spot once you’re in the Jungle. They have big glowy blue eyes, plus they’re oversized bugs so they stand out!
Once you find one of them, you just need to approach it and hold the button shown for the Swap Mount prompt.
A cutscene will play when you start riding the Brilliant Beetle, displaying your new mount!
It will also let you know that these beetles can climb anything, allowing you to get anywhere you want. Additionally, they can flap their wings to extend your airtime!
