Surveyor scanners allow players to find resources to have better equipment and resources in Grounded. They can be found in Survey Stations located in a Research station. To activate a Survey Scanner, you will need to make a quick adventure to the Hedge that’s located in the bottom right corner of the map.

How to Turn On Surveyor Scanner Power
To start the journey towards the hedge, you want to head over to the bottom right corner of the map. This will lead you to a tree branch containing a Field Station.
From there, continue upwards until you see a giant Juice Box that has a Zipline behind it. Be careful, this trip won’t be peaceful as you will encounter enemies like Spiderlings and RUZ.T robots. The spiderlings emit “crawling” sounds when they’re nearby, so traverse carefully along the branches.
Once you’re in the lab, you first will have to fight off the aforementioned RUZ.T robots. It’s important to use your surroundings to your advantage. Don’t let them surround you!
Making your way through the Lab, you will find a Re-Reboot document that contains information on the Surveyor. However, you will need to keep your eyes peeled for a lever on the wall, this will activate the Surveyor.
