There are several items in Diablo Immortal to help you strengthen your character, but none are more significant than Legendary Gems.
You can have six of these on at once, one in each of your primary gear slots, and they deliver enormous stat bonuses and unique effects that can help define your character’s build.
How to Rank Up Legendary Gems in Diablo Immortal
Legendary Gems have a starting rank of 1 and can reach a maximum rank of 10. The cost of an upgrade is determined by two factors: the Gem’s Star Rating (1, 2, or 5) and its current Rank.
It is incredibly expensive to rank up Legendary Gems, so make sure you only invest in your most valuable gems. You cannot transfer Ranks between Legendary Gems, unlike Legendary Items, so choose wisely!
Ranking Up Legendary Gems
To upgrade your Gems:
Speak with the Apprentice Jeweler. You can find her in Westmarch’s Rakkis Plaza.
Once there, click Manage to rank up a Legendary Gem.
Choose the Legendary Gem that you want to improve.
A green arrow will appear if you have a socketed Legendary Gem that can be upgraded with all of its requirements.
When it comes to ranking up, all Legendary Gems require increasing quantities of Gem Power. The rating of any unsocketed Legendary Gems and Gem Fragments in your Inventory is called Gem Power.
For instance, upgrading a 2-Star Gem from Rank 1 to Rank 2 requires 5 Gem Power, while moving it from Rank 2 to Rank 3 costs 15 Gem Power. This procedure is quite costly, so make sure to only rank up the Legendary Gems that you think are most valuable.
