This creature is curious and appears to have a strong desire for Element, as it enjoys consuming it. If these creatures notice you have Element, they will approach you and wait to see if you intend to give them what it craves.

Once you give it an element, it becomes an enormous monster in seconds.

Where To Find The Ferox Cave – Ark Fjordur

Ferox is excellent for traveling because they don’t take damage when they fall, can climb and scale walls, have a jumping boost if you time your jumps just right upon landing, does a lot of damage, and can harvest lampposts for element dust.

They’re also suitable for farming corrupt nodules up high so people can see them!

Genesis Simulation’s Arctic Biome

Genesis: Part 1 is the fourth paid DLC Expansion Pack for ARK: Survival Evolved, and it features a simulation of five different biomes in the form of smaller maps: Arctic, Bog, Ocean, Lunar, and Volcanic.

The Arctic biome is a huge, icy terrain featuring avalanches and snowstorms. The Genesis Simulation’s third most difficult biome to survive in.

In the east of the Arctic Biome, the home of the mysterious Ferox can be found, as well as endless snowstorms. This place is quite dangerous but if someone wanted to live here, they should look for a cliffside to build on and, most significantly, erect a fence around their construction or hut and tame the animals.
