The Incomplete Stable side quest takes place in Lookout Landing. That’s the small settlement south of Hyrule Castle, in the Central Hyrule region.

We’ve highlighted it on the map for you and we can also tell you that its coordinates are -0262, 0072, 0018.

The Incomplete Stable side quest takes place in Lookout Landing. That’s the small settlement south of Hyrule Castle, in the Central Hyrule region.

You will find a small stable there, and two men talking right outside of it. They will lament that the stable isn’t finished yet because it’s still missing one roof plank.

“The Incomplete Stable” will begin as soon as you’ve seen their small conversation.

Both of these guys seem content just standing around doing nothing, so it’s up to you to finish this stable!

Equip the Ultrahand ability and grab the plank that’s next to the younger man. Maneuver it onto the roof and try to fit it into the empty slot.

You can also jump on the nearby hay bales to make it easier to fit the plank into place.

The younger man will thank you for your help as soon as you put the roof plank into its proper place, then a cutscene will play out.

“The Incomplete Stable” quest will be marked as complete after the cutscene, much like the stable itself! You can now speak with the older man, Lester, to board horses at this stable.

Few things exemplify his wide variety in gaming tastes as the fact that he’s a big fan of both Souls games and the Atelier series at the same time. Also a big fan of Yakuza/Like a Dragon, Deadly Premonition, Zero Escape, and Dead Rising, among others. Considers Lost Judgment and Sekiro to both be masterpieces.
