Where to Take Vostatek in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 (Lackey Side Quest)

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has a whole lot of side content that you can complete as soon as the world opens up a bit more following the fairly linear intro sequence. Among them is the Lackey side quest, which a lot of players seem to be frustrated with. In this guide, we will show you how to get Vostatek to wherever he needs to go.

Where to Take Vostatek (Lackey Side Quest)

At some point during the Lackey side quest, you will finally run into Vostatek. Or, more accurately, he will fall from a tree after you kill a bunch of wolves that are harassing him. After this part, you will have to carry him and bring him to his hideout.

To find it, you just need to listen to everything he is saying and follow the objectives that show up on your screen. Just keep going to the landmarks he calls out, which are all found along the way as long as you follow the compass around north and northeast.

Along the way, you will get quest updates whenever you reach each landmark, such as the fallen tree, a rather large ant hill, a birch tree, etc. The only thing to note is that he will ask you to take him to a tavern at Tachov once you reach the ant hill.

You have a couple of options here. One, you can wait around for a bit or try to walk towards Tachov, which his hilariously far away. Eventually, he will change his mind and ask you to continue carrying him to his hideout.

However, you do not actually have to do any of that. While carrying him, when he asks you to bring him to a tavern, you will have an option to reply to him. By using it, Henry will refuse and you can continue on. In fact, you can just keep walking north to the birch tree and he might forget his request entirely.

Eventually, you will run into a marked tree with some small stones stacked nearby. Up ahead is his hideout, which is just an open campsite. There, you can finally put him down and proceed with the rest of the quest.

And that is all you need to do in order to get Vostatek where he needs to be. The quest is far from over after this, but the rest should be pretty straightforward from here, so just keep following what the quest tells you to do!
