Where to Find Flamethrower Pal in Palworld

Playing with fire!

Published

on

Palworld features a host of unique Pals, with some of them being more interesting than others.

A fan favorite so far seems to be the Foxparks. The reason for this is of course its special ability to shoot fire from its mouth.

So, where do you find a Foxparks? How do you use it as a flamethrower?

Where to Find Flamethrower Pal

To obtain the flamethrower Pal in Palworld, you need to first capture a Foxparks. Then, you need to unlock the Foxpark’s Harness. After crafting it, you can equip it and discover that your Foxparks will now shoot fire.

Capturing a Foxparks

Finding a Foxparks isn’t very difficult. They’re very common and can be found very early on in the game. They do attack you, however, so be wary of that. To get your Foxparks, head to the Grassy Behemoth Hills on the map.

Capturing the Foxpark is pretty simple. Just attack it to reduce its health and then throw a Sphere at it.

Unlocking the Foxpark’s Harness

The next step is to find the Foxpark’s Harness in the Technology tab. This is a key item required to use the Foxpark’s Partner Skill. It requires the following resources:

  • At least 3 pieces of Leather
  • At least 5 pieces of Flame Organ
  • At least 5 pieces of Paldium Fragment

Crafting the Foxpark’s Harness

All you need to do now is actually craft the Foxpark’s Harness. To do this, you need access to the Pal Gear Workbench. That can also be unlocked in the Technology tab if you don’t already have one.

Once you have your Workbench, interact with it to bring up the recipes menu. Choose the harness from there and construct it. Once done, it will automatically be equipped by your Foxpark.

Using the Huggy Fire

The Flamethrower ability is given the name Huggy Fire in the game. When using it, you hug your Foxpark close to you and aim as it shoots out fire. To use it, just press the Partner Skill button at the bottom of your screen.

There you have it, as simple as that. Thankfully, it doesn’t take much effort to start having fun with some of the cooler Pals in the game. Have fun with your new Foxparks, and be sure to not start any unwanted forest fires!
