Other than being extremely fun, What the Fog is also a very difficult game at times. The game doesn’t have a dedicated story or campaign, but there are other ways in which you can measure your progress.

Achievements in What the Fog help you keep track of what you have completed and what you are yet to complete. We will be looking at each and every achievement in What the Fog, and how you can complete them.

Going Home

To complete this achievement, you will need to complete a run on any difficulty.

I’m Okay

Complete a run on medium difficulty

Feel the Heat

Complete a run on hard difficulty.

Stop Hurting Yourself

Complete a run on very hard difficulty.

Don’t Look Back!

Complete a run on “Spooked” difficulty.

I’m Not Crying!

Complete a run on “Panicked” difficulty.

You’re Trapped Here With Me

Finally, complete a run on “Terrified” difficulty. This is the hardest difficulty in the game.

Competitive Spirit

For this achievement, you will need to complete a run with Feng Min. Feng Min is an unlockable character in What the Fog.

The Scientific Method

Complete a run with Claudette Morel.

Leader in Danger

Complete a run with Dwight Fairfield.

I’ll be There for you

Revive an ally 5 times.

Great Beginnings

Die for the first time. This is probably the easiest achievement to complete in What the Fog.

A Doozy of a Day

Die 3 times in the same level.

Oh, Shiny!

Pick up a total of 100 items.

Fear no Exits

Complete 100 different levels.

They’re Everywhere!

Defeat the Mega Swarmer.

Hey, That’s Sharp!

Defeat the Belcher Boss.

Right Round

Defeat the Speed Dicer.

Stay Away From me!

Defeat the Plated Bull Slug.

All the Spikes

Defeat the Spikespitter Overlord.

Bomb Field

Defeat the Bombfield Eruptor.

Now you see me

Defeat the Illusionist Surveyor.

Thats not an Airplane!

Defeat the Knocker Moth Matriach.

Besides completing achievements, you can also unlock unlockables in What the Fog. Unlockables help your progress in the game and make you stronger for future runs. You can check out our other guide on how progress works in What the Fog.

The different achievements do not have to be completed in order. Some are harder than others, and to complete the more difficult ones, be sure to unlock as many unlockables as you can before you attempt them.
