As a vampire, you are feared and hated by humans in V Rising. As such, if you want to interact with them, you have to take on a human form to do so. The same can be said about traders or merchants.

Basically, these NPCs will sell you stuff in exchange for your silver. But to do so, you need to disguise yourself as a human first.

If you’re new to the game, you might be wondering where you can find all these traders. This guide will show you how.

Traders and Merchant Guide and Locations in V Rising

As of now, there are only two traders that you can find in the game. One of them is Berk the Traveling Trader which can be found near Dawnbreak Village which is an area in Dunley Farmlands. As the name implies, Berk won’t be in a fixed location, so you’ll have to search the area to find him.

Once approached, this trader will sell you a handful of stuff which are as follows:

  • Bear head
  • Deer head
  • Blood Rose potion
  • Holy Resistance potion
  • Garlic Resistance potion
  • Regular Gemstones
  • Sunflower Seeds

The other trader is Ottar the Merchant who can be found inside a house in Brighthaven Slums. Compared to Berk, Ottar stays in that exact same spot, so finding him shouldn’t be a problem. He will sell you the following items:

  • Ghost Shroom Spores
  • Ashfolk Helmet
  • Highland Lotus Seeds
  • Flawless Gemstones
  • Major Explosive Box
  • Mitre

How to Trade with These Traders

As mentioned, you need to disguise yourself as a human first to even interact with them. Then, you have to make sure you carry enough silver coins. One thing you have to keep in mind is that as a vampire, you are weak to silver.

This means you’ll take damage over time after a certain duration, and this damage will depend on how many silver coins you carry with you.

To minimize the amount of damage you take, you’ll need to carry just enough silver to buy the stuff that you need. You can also increase your silver resistance by consuming the Silver Resistance potion that is craftable at the Alchemy Table.

Check out this guide for increasing silver resistance to trade with traders.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you’ll eventually break your human form while carrying silver. This is why you don’t want to bring as many silver coins with you since it will cause you to break your disguise earlier.
