Best Loot Spots | V Rising 1.1: Invaders of Oakveil
Rustlock Village
First off, let’s start with the humble Rustlock Village in Gloomrot South. This spot has a total of 9 houses with many lootable containers within. It’s a great source for a large variety of resources, with the most notable one being Fish Bones, which are essential for making Potions and Elixirs. You can also get a lot of Recipe Books, Jewels, Mutant Grease, Tech Scrap, Gems, and more!

Next up, we have the entirety of the Gloomrot North region. The main reason for that is all of the vacant lots you can find in this region, as they have a surprisingly high amount of resources. Wood, Stone, Sulphur Ore, Quartz, and more! All of these are plentiful in every vacant lot in the region, even more so than in other regions.
What’s more, you can often find Mutated Wolves and Mutated Bears while clearing out the lots for resources. These ugly beasties are a great source of Mutant Grease, which is always useful for late-game recipes.
Brighthaven
The largest settlement in the game is found west of the Silverlight Hills, and it’s been a loot hotspot ever since the game’s original release. Thankfully, it remains one of the best loot spots in V Rising 1.1: Invaders of Oakveil! Guess it’s still our vampiric duty to terrorize Brighthaven, huh?
You can mainly get Gold Jewelry, Goldsun Coins, Paper, Schematics, and Scrolls here. These are most useful for you to progress research at your Study and to summon at the Stygian Summoning Circle. On top of that, you’ll also get dozens of other materials and Jewels, which always come in handy.
Venom Mixing Outspot
The first spot on our list that’s new to the Oakveil region, you can find the Venom Mixing Outpost in the middle of Oakveil. This spot is primarily great due to the fact that you can get a large amount of various Flowers, which are great for Pollen to make Paper and for making Potions. Schematics are also pretty plentiful here, as well.
The cherry on top, however, is that you can often find pre-made Potions sitting in the containers on the outposts. They’re ready for you to take them and drink them without requiring any crafting at all! It’s also a quick spot to loot, to sweeten the deal further.
Venom Blades Bastion
This endgame farming spot is in the northernmost tip of Oakveil and is full of high-level (80+) enemies, so be ready! You can find a little bit of everything in this spot, but the most plentiful resources are the various Oakveil-exclusive materials. On top of that, you can find a large number of Potions, Schematics, Silver Coins, Recipe Books, and worldwide materials.
A very notable thing about this bastion is that it also has an Emery quarry on the western end. It’s chock-full of Emery nodes, allowing you to get about 700 or so pieces of Emery per run. If you find yourself in need of that particular resource, this is the place for you!
Oakveil Carriages
To finish up our list of the best loot spots in V Rising 1.1: Invaders of Oakveil, let’s talk about the two new carriages in Oakveil. The map above shows their routes. One is always in the middle of the Oakveil Woodlands, while the other is south of the Venom Blades Bastion. These, conveniently, are pretty close to the previous Oakveil loot spots!
You can find these carriages patrolling along their set routes, protected by guards. Manage to take out the guards and the carriage itself to loot it, and you’ll get some great rewards! The loot can include goodies such as Ember Glass, Recipe Books, Silver Coins, Jewels, Gems, Emery, and Silver Ore.
