Whether you’re a newblood or a veteran vampire, you’ll need to know the best way to get 100% purity Bloods in V Rising 1.1.
Thanks to the update’s major changes, there’s a new method for you to farm every type of Blood at once. This can, of course, also get you 100% purity Blood, which has the strongest effects. If you wish to truly make the most of your vampiric powers, you’ll need the best blood possible!
Read on and we’ll detail the best method to get every Blood Type at 100% purity.
Best Way to Get 100% Bloods | V Rising 1.1
The best way to get 100% Blood of any type is to farm Mosquitos. For that, you will first need to defeat Matka the Curse Weaver. It’s a Level 78 V Blood, so it’s relatively late into the game. Nonetheless, defeating Matka will unlock the Mosquito “recipe” for the Vermin Nest. You’ll also want to have defeated Tristan the Vampire Hunter (Level 44) for the Blood Hunger ability.
What makes Mosquitoes special in this game is that they can spawn with every single Blood Type. The quality you get from them is random, sure, but this makes them extremely convenient for farming!
Now, you also ideally want to gather 1080 Stones and 240 Bones. This will allow you to build 3 Vermin Nests, which is a nice place to start. You can get Stone by just breaking down rocks and ruins all over the world, while Bones are mostly dropped by Undead and Creature enemies.
That aside, you’ll also need to collect the following materials to spawn the Mosquitos themselves:
Plague Brier x40 (x30 if using Alchemy Lab Flooring) – Can be collected in Gloomrot South or grown in pots by using Plague Brier Seeds.
Fish Bone x1 – Can be obtained as random loot, randomly when fishing, or by salvaging Fish at a Blood Press.
Once you’ve got the materials, you want to set up a castle in a specific way to deal with the Mosquitoes. Build a small room with 3 (or more) Vermin Nests and make it so that it’s adjacent to another small empty room. You’ll also want a nearby room with Prison Cells. The drawing above gives you an example of what the setup should be like.
The Farming Process Explained
When you’re set-up, put the materials into all of your Vermin Nests to summon as many Mosquitos as possible at once. Then, leave the room and close the gate behind you to trap the Mosquitoes. Use your Blood Hunger at this point to see which Blood Types each Mosquito has and their quality.
Once you’ve singled out the Mosquitoes with the Bloods you want, open the gate to the Mosquito room. Try to kite the Mosquitoes to chase you into the empty room, then close the gate behind them. Kill any unwanted stragglers if need be. This is the hardest part of the process, but it’s an important one!
Worth noting you ideally want to avoid Ignite and Static effects here. They can lead to chain reactions, which can accidentally kill your wanted Mosquitoes. Save those for when you have to clean up by killing the poor quality Mosquitoes instead.
Either way, you just need to isolate the wanted Mosquitoes in the empty room with you. Once they’re alone, reduce their Health to 30% or less and then cast Dominate to subdue them.
Remember, as one of the many changes in 1.1, Dominate Human was replaced by a general Dominate spell that works for nearly every blood carrier! That includes our humble Mosquitoes here.
When you’ve Dominated the Mosquitoes you want, take them to your Prison Cages and lock them up. You can now just tend to them and drain their blood as you would with any other captured creature!
That’s pretty much the whole process! Now, while this is very likely the best way to get 100% Bloods in V Rising 1.1, it does rely a lot on random luck. This is ultimately a numbers game, you’ll be spawning dozens of Mosquitoes and hoping for the best. However, luck and RNG will always play a big part.
Other Blood Farming Tips and Tricks
Mosquitos aside, it’s worth noting that Mutant and Draculin blood types are better farmed from other sources, as follows:
Mutant Blood – Use the same Vermin Nest setup, but summon Mutated Rats instead of Mosquitos. To do that, you will require the following:
Defeat Angram the Purifier (Level 61 V Blood) for the recipe.
Grave Dust x4 (x3 if using Alchemy Lab Flooring) – Dropped by certain Undead enemies, such as Ghouls and Skeletons. Can be bought from the Shady Goods Dealer in Farbane Woods, too.
Sludge-filled Canister x1 – Can be crafted at the Fabricator.
Draculin Blood – Get it from the Carriages that roam the Dunley Farms region.
Additionally, remember that you can raise your prisoners’ Blood quality by feeding them Corrupted Fish and Irradiated Gruel. This can fail and be costly, though, so it’s only recommended if you’ve grown tired of spawning Mosquitoes!
Nonetheless, that’s everything you need for the best way to farm all Bloods at 100% in V Rising 1.1! Go out there and the best blood a vampire has ever tasted.
