Throne & Liberty: Monster Researchers Request Exploration Codex

Welcome to the Monster Researchers Request Exploration Codex for Throne & Liberty! In this guide, I will take you step-by-step through an intriguing quest in the game. You’ll start by visiting the bonfire to meet with the Monster Researcher, who will provide you with essential information for completing the Exploration Codex. I’ll outline the exact steps to make sure you collect the necessary items and complete your quest!

Monster Researchers Request Exploration Codex

To begin, navigate to the bonfire and speak with the Monster Researcher. They will guide you to the underground area to locate the Starving Ants. Interestingly, these creatures may appear in various locations, so you don’t necessarily have to go underground right away.

Please note that you must wait for the Blood Mushroom event to start in order to proceed with this quest. Check your calendar for the corresponding icon; mine began at midnight.

Once you’ve dealt with the Starving Ants, your next objectives are to gather a Blood Mushroom and coat a Sandworm Egg with Spores in the Queen’s Trap. The Sandworm Egg is likely to be found underground. You should see some blue star icons on your minimap indicating the locations of the Sandworm Eggs.

While underground, begin by collecting 10 Blood Mushroom Chunks. These are essential for gathering the Blood Mushroom itself. After obtaining the chunks, locate the Sandworm Egg and follow the prompts to coat it with Spores. This will transform them into Mutated Sandworm Eggs.

Finally, return to the Monster Researcher to complete the quest. You can find her at this location on the map, accessible either from above or through the underground route.
